It was okay for me.
Tripp and Serena were boring. Shouldn’t his wife know to bring him food?
Why was Nate dresses like he was suppose to escort a junior to their Cotillion? It was confusing to understand his place in this episode. Whichever girl that said Nate Archibald was “epic” is clearly still too low in the social ladder to know that the title belongs to Chuck.
Last year Cotillion was so much more classy and elegant. They couldn’t have possibly allowed a song that sings the words, “Bitch” and even spells it out for the event.
I am so happy Eric and the new girl is going to team up to take down Little J. Jenny right now is that stage where she is becoming power hungry. I hope she meets her downfall soon. Maybe the new girl or even Eric will claim the throne.
The threesome was such a disappointment. I was right when I said if it was with Dan, Vanessa and Olivia then it will be a waste of a threesome. I hate Dan in general so when there’s more of him making out with other people, I get really disgusted.
Once again I still feel like I didn’t see enough of my baby Chuck. His expression when he was high was priceless. He looked freakin sexy. Those suspenders look damn good on him. His voice though the speaker was so dreamy. I love it when he said, “If you two kiss, it wouldn’t count as cheating.” It was my favorite quote all night. The last Chair scene was very sweet. That kiss was awesome. The problem is there aren’t enough of them. When will the writers get it? Stop giving us crap like a wasted threesome of Dan, Vanessa and Olivia instead of sweet Chair scenes.
Blair was kind of annoying for me. Her obsession still being in the Constance Circle is getting old. She should get new storylines because besides Chuck, Blair is the best character on the show and you can not waste someone like her. Her new storylines should be about her and Chuck. Screw what Jenny said about her headband. Blair should brings all her headbands back.
I’m not looking forward to next week’s episode because it appears to still be about the stupid threesome. Boring.

I really liked this episode. Even though I'm a massive Chair fan and would happily just watch them for the full episode- this one was good.
Decent storylines, the Serena 'messing up' thing provides the season with some sense of continuity/theme for the first time so far I think, the rest of it was quite fun/funny- especially DOV (anyone else notice the way Dan looked at Vanessa after the kiss though??? Hmmm), all the Cotillion drama (Jenny is such a bitch!) and the Serena/Tripp chemistry (ooh you're a very naughty girl S!)
But of course it wasn't perfect. My main issue is I have actually sadly got used to the fact that Chuck and Blair have no drama, hotness or heart-stoppingly romantic scenes anymore- the arguments they've had this season have been totally contrived, and the rest of it is fine but forgettable. Nate- the writer's seem to have forgotten who he is, it seems like they are really struggling to do anything with him... And the downside of DOV is that it puts V right back in the middle of the show again, god help us!
All in all, B+ Gossip Girl- Good, but could try harder...

i loved the episodes, but we need more excitiment, drama, and more CHUCK BASS, i want more scenes of him!! and i want scenes of chuck and blair, more scenes of them. They are the couple that make the show!! you promised more scenes of them and i want to see it happen!! and im sorry but i hate vanseesa, shes gross and i really ugh she just anoyys me,

i have been really enjoying this season but i am open to where the writers want to take stories and characters and don't watch every episode with expectations like "the writers better do this and not do that". i really like that they are using the 3some as a plot point to lead to character development and drama instead of just an isolated omg moment. and it was perfectly awkward.

This episode sucked...
This show doesn't have the sparks it used to have....smh...I could care less about serena and tripp...or nate and jenny....seriously..if the writers don't start getting it right....me and a million other viewers will stop watching the new episodes and reminise on the old ones...and that would suck...

OM3 = very very overhyped!!!
the best thing in this episode is S and B made up with C helping the process
and I agree with many here, need more hot steamy sexy Chair scenes!

Oh man, it looked like my 14th birthday were I kissed my friend for fun..I didn't expect any hot steamy nude scenes but that kissing for like ten seconds?! Hope the flashbacks are better, even if its the CW..COME ON!

Well I thin the Episode was GREAT..beyond AMAZING!
I really had the good old GG Feeling! First of all I really liked the whole Jenny story and she looks really pretty right now! Chuck was amazing again, how he cared about Blair and Serenas friendship and the whole elevator thing was just awesome and the kiss comment LOVED IT! And by the way I LOVED The Band with that "BITCH SONG" GREAT! It did really fit into the Episode! And I'm so excited about the Serena/Tripp Storyline, I really hope the hook up together..maybe in one or two episodes! And Serena has grown a lot I think, she knew that se has feelings for tripp and she wanted to quit this fantastic job, that really speaks for her and the whole talk with blair in the elevator was really touching and blake did a great acting in this scene! Seems GG is back to good old times! Hope they keep it this way..

okay so i have been sitting here reading all these comments and i cant leave without giving my input. I am a die-hard gossip girl fan. I watch season 1&2 dvds almost every day. The reason i say this is because as a true fan i am allowed to give some critism but i dont mean it be directed in a bad way. I have to admit that seasons 1&2 have have been WAY better than season 3. This season has been very boring and nothing amazing has happened. I found out the reason why..With the past 2 season gg had a long term plot that had many OMG moments that usually ended in a cliffhanger at the end of the show and that made you want to watch next weeks episode. I feel with this season its very short term. LIke something happens in the begining of the episode and is solved by the end. There is really no incentive there to watch next weeks episode other than the fact that its gossip girl. Now i dont mean to get any hate from it i am just trying to give my opinion on something i really care about. I have yet to have my "OMFG" moment this season because if i can recall there were to many to count last 2 seasons. The GG writers may be running out of things to write about to keep everyones attention...moving on to my next topic-
Chuck and Blair-okay see those are my favorite two charecters and partially the only reason why i watch the show in the first place. I had to ask myself every episode..Are they even together? they are so boring now. because if i do remember correctly season 1&2 they had SO much passion and mystery between them, like the hot hook-ups behind everyones backs. Where did that go? In 9 epsiodes they havent had a scene where they hooked up once...the farthest they went was a kiss...I mean cmon for us hardcore chair fans that just isnt fair lol I just wish they showed more of them and made it more interesting between them..-lastly the threesome was probably the most over-hyped moment in tv history..just saying
I love gossip girl and still will continue to watch it i just hope that it gets better..

There were some sparks of the old Gossip Girl in this episode, but the writers still have some work to do if they want to bring it back to its former glory.
The dialogue has really gone downhill. Bring back the old wit!!!
However, here are some good things:
* Chuck making pervy comments again = yes. They need to take that up a notch.
* Bitchy Jenny = awesome.
* The Serena/Tripp storyline: sure it's shocking and awful, but we all know that Serena can't resist anything more than another girl's guy. I'm personally intruigued.
They also need to stop trying so hard to make us care about people like Dan and Vanessa. Make them go away if necessary. I really liked the parts of this episode that didn't involve the awkward Dan/Vanessa/Olivia threesome. I don't know wtf they were thinking by bringing in Hillary Duff in the first place. These celeb cameos are just crutches for their increasingly lame storylines.

The episodes are getting better... I am happy B is kind of growing out of the high school phase. I would like to see her more on top though. S is just a mess, I am getting sick of her just jumping from guy to guy, she needs to grow up. The whole Jenny thing is making the show intresing agian... like old GG... And I like how ppl actually used GG in this episode instead of her narrating. What ever happend to all the hot and steamy seens... It seems like the charcters just kiss and we assume they went all the way.... All in all GG is getting a little better but I can see it ending soon.... Another O.C. repeat....

Pros:
-Jenny acting the way she did to Blair. In that sense, Blair was being a little pathetic wanting to take Jenny under her wing and stuff. You obvi don't need a mentor for an event like that, so I loved when she dissed her.
-the exciting college party. I mean it was a little dramatic to see people doing keg stands, beer bongs, shots, and people shot gunning beers all in one room. I literally laughed at that exaggeration. BUT at least they showed them doing something college students would do...PARTYING!!!!!
-BTW, Jenny looked amazing!
-blair and serena making up....if they didn't, it was going to get old pretty fast.
-Nate being involved in anything...he's so hot, he needs more time (with SERENA!)
-Chuck's comment in the elevator...hilarious.
Cons:
-That little girl going to team up with Eric or Blair or whoever to try to bring Jenny down now. That is girl is NOT pretty by any means and it would be pathetic if the writers let THAT girl be involved in this show.
-The whole Serena and Tripp thing. I absolutely love Serena and I actually like Tripp but him being married is what ruins it. It's worse that his wife is a bitch and he doesn't deserve that. But I wouldn't want Serena to get an even worse rep than she has been getting lately.
-The threesome made me cringe too. I thought it was just really forced and kind of weird. Plus, they all fall asleep in the same bed, which makes for a horribly awkward morning.
-Olivia is now getting annoying. Like she is supposed to be this celebrity who Dan finds attractive and cares about, but this whole sharing his girlfriend with his best friend seems really out of his character now. I know he is growing, but I feel like he was the type of guy who if he was with a girl, he wanted to love and respect. If he was single, it wouldn't be out of his character, but I mean this is just pushing it with him. I WANT THE DAN FROM SEASON 1, the sweetheart! He was sooo different with Serena, like he really truly cared about her and was hurt if she did anything to him. They had passion and excitement and definitely love. I have never seen his eyes light up the same way since. Same goes with her.
-Blair's hair when it was straight down...had no volume...looked awful.
-Eric being mean. We need somebody nice on the show and now he crossed over to the dark side...uhhh.
Want to see:
-Nate and Serena hook up. He's her age, they have sexual history and they are both single. I think their relationship would be SO HOT. (I am a huge Dan/Serena fan but doesn't look like that would happen again/anytime soon)
-Dan NOT get with Vanessa. They have been friends for a while and I don't really know how I would feel about this. He is really moving through girls lately.
-Blair in the college scene and actually enjoying it or something. Or at least have her hang around bars or places in NY to show she's not just about the high school thing still.
-Blair and Serena's friendship staying on track. These fights can get really boring sometimes. I want them to PLOT together on something...would be awesome.

Remember, writers, when Blair ended things with Chuck at cotillion then immediately slept with Nate? Remember how this was incredibly big thing in their history? All I wanted was one line about it, like "This is how things should have been last time," or something sweet to show how far they've come since then. Now we'll never get this opportunity to revisit that back!
wow. you made me remember about the cotillion. i guess i also caught the writer's amnesia, if ever that is contagious.

This episode is better than before, but now that i realize it, season1 cotillion was indeed epic.
I don't want to be mean but I can't help myself, remember 1x10 and now 3x10 those 2 episodes have the grossest sex scenes first it was NAIR bland and ick, sorry I'm biased,and now just as I've gagged and grossly predicted DOV, see almost a copy lol

basically i wanted to throw up when i saw who the threesome was. nasty. and it was WAYY overhyped for no more than they showed. wait to go dan and mess everything up with your best frined and gf. and can you say awkward with them being roommates? eww. the entire thing still grosses me out. i'm glad blair and serena finally worked things out. as for trip, idk. he needs to concentrate more on his work and less on serena. i bet they end up getting themselve in HUGE trouble. nate and jenny :D my hopes are high that something happens here!

I loved the threesome, sorry but it was hot even for a few minutes, I think that Olivia had one already but used the movie as a excuse, she did not seem at all scared or nervous as did Dan and vanessa.
