very excited. Simple, personal plots and scheming are always better than political and financial ones. and i would love for dan to choose vanessa over olivia, girl's finally gona get a story line that doesn't make her character just stand around and watch the better story lines pass by.
plus, nate and chuck bringing blair and serena together ..... just warms my heart :)

Hey Elise, as a fellow fan to another (or former fan :P), I guess it's upsetting to see people give up on the show. Who knows, maybe it will keep going downhill for some. But I think we should all keep hoping. But hey, to each his/her own. Don't wanna force ya to stay but maybe the show will start surprising us. It's true, Season 2 and 3 is nothing compared to Season 1 but there are some good dialogues to look forward to and some pretty awesome actors/actresses.

The threesome was so overhyped, and... blah. Supposedly there are gonna be some flashback scenes next week. Hope they'll be a little steamier than whatever that was tonight. I keep forgetting this is network TV, so it's not like there gonna really show much.
I did love Blair and Serena and I've always been on team B AND S. But, Serena really pissed me off @ the end. She and Blair planned to spend the evening together, and then what does Serena do - blow off Blair to spend time with Tripp.
I couldn't understand all the Team Blair, anti-Serena comments before, but it really does seem like although Blair seems to be the bitchy one, it seems like she actually cares about her and Serena's friendship more than Serena does. Serena needs to get her act together and realize that the one person she can really trust in her life..is Blair. Def. not her mom who's prob. gonna tear up that letter Serena's dad sent to her.

bbwaldorf92...sorry i wasn't trying to be 'negative' but i just can't even explain how disappointed i am with the show. sorry i'll try to be nicer, but it wasn't very nice of you to say good riddens or whatever you said...oh well anyway sorry if i was annoying :)

I'm sure I'll enjoy it. :-) You ever seen Leighton Meester even from afar? They were shooting Gossip Girl on the steps of the Met one day about 2 years ago, and I was in the area. You can have a staff of 100 and Leighton somewhere there, and your eye doesn't wander long until it stops on Leighton, and then you got blind, of course. That's how I learned of Gossip Girl. The rest is history. Any scene with B or C in it is good times for me.

Eric: I wanted to cry for him and Jonathan :( What will Eric do without him? I heart them together very sad that they ended things. Stupid Jenny go crawl under a bridge and die (hehe over-dramatic, i know)
Blair/Serena: Made up before our very eyes. We all knew they would
Chair: Where are you? I keep seeing glimpse but that's it. These "cute" scene *scratches head* Where's the passion? Lost with season 1 writers.

D/O/V? The 3some, actually their scenes look so force and poor. It was just a mix of randomness. Honestly the PTC had nothing to worry about.

I just saw the next ep spoiler, and it looks like it was really predictable how they were going to dump Olivia and start teasing us with the next big snooze that is Dan and Vanessa. I just posted this stinking theory a few hours ago. Just doesn't seem right to be right on this one. :-)

I am ashamed of saying this, but i would like it if V and D got together. Olivia seems like a total bitch in the next episode, and nate and Serena need to Kiss (literally) and make up, then hook up. They never really resolved their fight, so I'm waiting for that. Also I am happy that they did not completely drop Serena trying to get the attention of her Dad SL. I wonder what will happen??

GOOSE you'll enjoy the episode. it was like old gossip girl. and to elise of the upper east side. good riddens we don't need your negativity. its just bumming us out. blair totally show how much she matured this episode. im proud of her. i love gossip girl. and everyone who has constructive or positive things to say. much love.

Hm, I wouldn't mind a D/V romance, but I enjoy their "just friends" aspect for some reason. I think it serves as a grounding point to the chaos that is gender relations on Gossip Girl.

Wow people that thought it was good. WOW. Is all I can say. I was yelling at the tv for them to stop with O, D and V. I wish Nate would have ran up onto the stage instead of Jenny running of it. When did Chucks voice get even lower? and the classical music in the back. I agree with whoever said Blair was getting annoying. Go get some college friends and stop hanging with girls who are trying to be what the show used to be. Funny, caniving, having to second guess everything, and not being able to fig. out all the cliff hangers within 3 seconds of the preview. I think this show is going to be a oc repeat.

I haven't watched the episode yet, but from what people are saying, getting B over this highschool stuff just like that confirms to me what I've been suggesting all along. That they pretty much used B's character to assist Jenny's story. To give us a short and stupid Jenny bitch story, and eventually transition Jenny back into a reformed girl. The redistribution of character airtime. Thank the writers for wasting 9 episodes on this stupid Jenny stint, depriving us of what could have possibly been a great beginning of season 3 that they promised would have Chuck and Blair as the core of the show. Jenny will be brought back to good girl status soon anyway. Using B like that as a prop should be a sin.

I'm actually glad S didn't hook up with Tripp.
Although I think she eventually will...
But I mean if she does then that's going to make her look bad.
First she hooked up with Nate while he was dating her best friend.
Then she stole Poppy Lifton's boyfriend, even if it was all a scheme she didn't know that.
And now they want her to hook up with a married man?
I mean I know she has a wild side, but I don't want them doing that to S.
Plus she was so smitten with Carter not too long ago and she jumped to Tripp too fast in my opinion.
I just don't want it to happen because if they do hook up it will get out and something tells me that get out of jail free card Serena always has, won't be there when the press finds out she slept with a married congressman.
That's why I don't want it to happen, plus if Carter hears about it... Well that's got to make him feel like crap lol.

Plus DV never really got a chance because of DS, even though I loved DS so much, the writers aren't going to let it happen. I think if DV gets a shot then so should Nate/Serena, because they never really got to see how they'd do in a real relationship either. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens ;)

Ok so i was waiting for the freaking threesome part when I saw Olivia kiss Dan then Vanessa then Dan and Vanesssa! OMGWTFWHY!? Vanessa is my favorite character why the hell would they make her do that? And the debutante was nowhere near Blair's and Serena's. Gossip Girl needs to hop back on the bandwagon here, its seriously lacking some pizazz. If it was old GG S would have hooked up with Tripp end of story. There were two good things though: Anya Marina's cover to "whatever you like" and the song B.I.T.C.H. that was playing while Jenny was calling Nate

Honestly, since Dan and Serena are over (crosses fingers for writers to change that) I guess V&D would be cute. I just wouldn't want their romantic relationship to ruin their friendship.

AMAZING ! This episode was just like the old interesting gossip girl. The whole Jenny thing was the most interesting although I would like to see more of her and Nate. Blair and Serena is so heartwarming. The threesome was shocking, but not horrible. Overall, very good episode !
