Regarding Dan's Haircut: Actually i like this haircut, he is looking more similar to his Father now :o)
I need to say that at this season they have messed up too much with the storyline. The whole "3-some" and "sleeping with a married man" thing just doesn't seem normal at such a young age. This is not Serena we knew, not Dan nor Vanessa we saw at the prev. seasons. I understand the need for drama but not that kind of messy onces. Wether like it or not, this show is a role model for younger people and since they put such twisted relationships so "easy to do", i fear that many of us could think that such things are normal. Such scenes are damaging our understanding of ethics, relationships, privacy and morals.

I'm so excited for NS this episode! I love these two together. Hopefully, Tripp will get punched in the face soon, not that Serena is totally innocent in this affair either.
I love Dan! He's so funny this season, especially post three-some. I want him with Vanessa.

Alisonnw, I don't think it bothers Nate any more than the fact that they had already both had Serena. And technically, Vanessa was Dan's first. They just keep sharing them round and round.

I think that Lily lied to Rufus and has been not visiting her mother CeCe, but instead hooking up with her 1st husband. After finding out Serena was looking for him, she found him and met up with him. Plus I don't think Lily and Rufus are legally married. Remember that woman who wed them. She even commented that she got the license on-line!!

ahhhh i want N/S together soooo badly now!! :) but, i have noticed that dan and serena never have ANY scenes together anymore, i cant stand them as a couple, but they are brother/sister or something arent they? so i think they need to have a scene where they share their problems and advise lol.

I also very much agree with Anne! Though it's kind of a very long story =P I apologize for being negative sometimes about Vanessa, I never called her whore or bitch, but still, some people might like her so I think we could all stay polite.
Oh, and I didn't agree with you on the Serena/Tripp topic :) But the rest was great.

I will not be watching if they put Dan and Vanessa together. Olivia was the best new character this show has seen, and I wasn't even a fan of Duff before GG. It's a shame they're letting her go. She's the only girl that has ever made Dan tolerable and realistic.

Emma! Dan should not get off the show because he is one of the main characters of the show and if he leaves people will stop watching GG all together. So he should not leave and I love Dan this season! He is less judgemental and I think he is developing as his character is going through college. Keep on rocking Dan!

oh sweetie. I think EVERYONE should read Anne's post. You are so right girl. It seems like people forget the past of the other characters, too. And yeah Anne, in this site is more about bashing the show than praising it. Even though, lets face it! It's kind of shitty right now. But I loved everything you say. My way of thinking exactly. I know many people who had an affair or have 10 boyfriends/girlfriends a year but are not necessarily called whores. And that is not even Serena's case. The only bad thing she has done so far is kiss the married man (I don't know if anything more happened). Do you remember Nate and his affair with a married woman, who was also paying him for it. Vanessa who has slept with the main characters and who knows who else, also the threesome. Blair who slept with the bf and the bff in the lapse of a week, and the uncle, too; and Carter who was a creep back then. Chuck; all the hookers in Manhattan and 2 date-rape attempts (that we know about). Dan isn't being like that just now, remember summer S1/S2 yeah! He was whoring around while Serena was mourning him. Yeah.. The only one that goes out of the possible "whore" option is Eric. Because not even Jenny with her "fuck me" clothes can be put out of that category. End of rant :) same apologies for any grammatical errors

Laura seriously people come here to talk about the show in a happy way because we like it. Not to compelty thrash a character in a rude way ( aslo SHE'S FAKE SHE ISN'T REAL).
How about you take a chill pill and sit down and enjoy the show?
because if this is all you think about maybe instead of serena you should just stop watching the show.

As a reminder, Serena hasn't had a make-out session with every guy on the show - even if the writers made that pretty close to happen. Blair has had her great share of adventures too - and so has Vanessa, for example. And Nate. And Chuck. I reckon you don't remember the first season of the show so well. Chuck, Serena, the kitchen, he telling her that he saw her and Nate going at it the night she left for boarding school ? The way he tried to kiss her, and she did not let it happen ?
Ring a bell ? As much as I like Chuck, let's face it : if he didn't make out with Serena, the reason is certainly not because he has a brain. His was pretty much on the gutter back then.
Heck, even Dan got some while Serena was in the Hamptons, then with his teacher, and now with this threesome thing-y.
Why are girls so judgemental and quick to shamelessly bash other girls - and in this case, fictional characters ?
Yes, the girl has the common sense of a toddler, and is having an affair with a married man. So what ?

In real life, true people have affairs, too. Sometimes, what leads to their predication is a fleeting infatuation, other times it is simply raw lust. And, as shocking you might find it, sometimes, just sometimes, a married person finds love in someone else that his husband/wife. "Le cœur a ses raisons, que la raison ne connaît point, on le sait en milles choses", once wrote a French thinker.
You cannot put a leash and submit your heart and passion to pure logic, because the heart has one of its own. A human being is always in conflict between reality, pulsions and moral exigencies. We create a kind of flawless, hypocritical and somewhat restraining moral. If you stick to it, it is a decision of your own - and your moral isn't the same as everyone else.
Why so prompt to call her a whore, or a bitch ? God, how I loathe puritan's moral. A bloke sleeping around is simply a womanizer, and as for a woman ? She's called a whore, by her own kind and peers.
Laura, there is nothing wrong in taking a year out to try to find yourself, it is no matter to be frowned upon. After highschool, do you really think that everyone has figured out what he/she wants to do for the rest their lives, what kind of lifestyle they are most likely going to follow ? I don't think so. That's why most don't manage to graduate from college in minimal time. Some need to step back and take in the larger picture, stop pressuring themselves and give it a serious thought, because once you enter college, it is a life of studies and work ahead of you (and right after highschool, I find that taking a breath is not a bad idea). I heard that Princeton encourages students to take a year out, and Harvard is a keen on the idea of a "gap year" for their students right before college.
I found your intervention annoyingly narrow-minded and disagreable, you blew this clearly out of proportion. I guess my long rant was just the result of the increasing annoyance that the numerous posts I stumbled upon created. I'm noticing an iterative pattern here: people are tending, more and more, to call some characters whores or bitches. Those past few weeks it has been Serena, tomorrow, whose turn is it ?
Anyway, I've just started watching this serie a couple of months ago, so I'm not aware if that is the "common way" things are among fans, with the bashing, insulting and such. By the way, sorry for any spelling or grammar mistake. Being French and seventeen years old certainly doesn't add much to my credibility xD
I really hope that Serena will cut her bonds with Tripp, though, because their relationship does not seem healthy enough (I have my doubts regarding the depths of this congressman's fellings). The writers are too quick to mess with her head, putting her in unstable pairings. I am actually glad that she and Nate will get together, their story was just left unfinished in season one. I still think this was a tad bit rushed...
I expect some action for Chair, too, I miss blair's bitchiness and schemes.
And I definitely tend to write way too much. Oh, well.

dan is just so looser, i couldnt stop laughing from the one of the last episodes where he thinks hes soooo cool after the threesome, thats whats so uncool with him. Hes such a nerd, he should get out of the show. and vanesse should get her hands a little dirtier, i liked her when she was sleeping with chuck ;)

I miss the sweet Dan from season 1, not this new Dan that is just not Dan, he's becoming so man-whorish. Dan and Serena need to get back together! :(

This is random, but has anyone noticed Nicole from ANTM (this cycle's winner) looks a LOT like Serena? They make similar faces. Spooky.
