question: why do chuck and nate catch a public bus to school in the pilot episode when they're rich enough to afford private chauffeurs, which is made evident in the next episode.?

Chace is perfecttt for nate (: like chace is like "well ive never been particularly uglyyy....." which may seem kinda arrogant and stuff but thats how nate is supposed to bee (: cvg describes him as arrogant but not knowing what to do about it. which is how chace is. i love himmm so muchh! lol (: anyways whatevvv. but honestlyy chace should just be himself! hed be such a better actor if he didnt try as hard i guess?

I just starting watching gossip girl full on this season I saw a few episodes of season 2 and I went out and bought season 1 but I watched last nights episode "Rufus Getting Married" and Bree kept telling Nate that she was a Buckley and he was a Vanderbilt I am a little confused because his last name in Seasons 1 & 2 is Archibald can someone please tell me why she keeps calling him a Vanderbilt, please dont laugh if its something stupid :)
