  1. Tonight's Gossip Girl: What Did You Think?

    Much better than I expected.
  2. Two "How to Succeed in Bassness" Sneak Previews

Ah, yes, finally some more Eric and Jonathan interaction! They are so cute together, I hope we get to see some kisses soon. (: And argh, I'm torn between Jenny's reign as queen and her friendship with Eric. Hopefully there's a way to keep both?

As for CB... Well, they'll make up. Not worried about that.
  3. Extended Promo: "How to Succeed in Bassness"

The writers just keep shitting on Blair. It's not going to get any better.
  4. Leighton Meester Talks Music, Boys, Pet Peeves

    Honestly?
Okay. So she kissed her first guy at 16. So what? Are you saying that it's completely impossible to have your first kiss at 16 and then have sex a year or so afterward? Wow, that's a little stupid, even if you're completely incompetent.
How is she 'fake'? Really? I find it entirely believable and I think she's really honest about this. She kissed her first guy at 16 and did something stupid at 17. How is this not believable AT ALL?
  5. This Evening's Gossip Girl: What Did You Think?

This was a really good episode. I wasn't surprised; the previews and promos looked excellent, and the episode itself definitely didn't disappoint. I probably spazzed more this episode than any other. I loved the Chair scenes - they weren't over-the-top like in season two, but they weren't too insignificant. I like Chair like that.

I am apprehensive about next week's episode. Chuck kissing a guy! Oh, lordy, that'll be so interesting. (:
  6. Penn Badgley Shares a Little Gossip Girl Gossip

    ..
    Penn is lols.
    (:
  7. Gossip Girl Spoilers: Threesome Alert!

    SPOILER ALERT:

it was confirmed to be Vanessa/Dan/Olivia.
Suck on that for a while~
  8. Gossip Girl Spoilers: Threesome Alert!

I highly doubt Chuck and Blair are involved in this. Since it's not a dream sequence, I'm convinced it's Georgina and Dan with Olivia or Vanessa. It'd be too expected for Chuck and Blair to participate in that; they're going for an OMFG moment, and what better than showing good guy Humphrey with two girls?

Plus, Chuck and Blair are supposed to be all happy and shit through 3x11, so I highly, highly doubt they would be that happy if they were having threesomes. What with Blair's insecurities about Chuck, anyway, I can't imagine she'd do a threesome with another girl when she's afraid she's not good enough already.

Georgina, however, is psychopathic, and I can totally imagine this.
  9. "Rufus Getting Married" Sneak Previews

This scene... I can just take, "Oh! What is this? This is incredible!" out of context. v_v

Sexy CB. Maybe I won't have to give up on them after all. :3
  10. Coming Soon to Gossip Girl: Lady Gaga!

..I hate Lady Gaga. This is going to suck.
  11. Gossip Girl Spoilers: Threesome Alert!

I'm going to guess Dan/Georgina/Olivia. Or some lame flashback.. or a nightmare-ish type thing.

I'm kind of freaking out, but this sounds so hilarious...
  12. What Did You Think of Tonight's Gossip Girl?

I had low expectations for this episode, mainly because of Hilary and Tyra. While I adore Hilary - she's a beautiful girl and as a little girl, I loved her music - I just didn't want her on Gossip Girl. And Tyra... well, it's hard not to imagine her with America's Next Top Model plastered all around her.

But this episode was actually very good, and I'm completely surprised. The quotes were witty and a lot of them made me laugh obnoxiously out loud. Blair's, "Sandals are not shoes!" made me crack up, and her, "Oh my God," about the Universe club. It was really great, actually, and I'm genuinely shocked that I liked this episode.

Even Chuck's scheme with Jenny was well-done, and Blair's blow-up about it was exactly what I imagined jealous!Blair like. The writers did well with this episode. The Chair dynamic, still not completely there, was good in this episode. Chuck's little plot to get Blair back on track was beautiful.

I can't say I liked Hilary and Tyra too much, but they were a lot better than I expected of them. Joanna was gone this episode, thank God. It was nice to see Nate without Bree clinging to him.
  13. Latest Gossip Girl Sneak Peek: "Dan de Fleurette"

    @Brenda:

At first, my heart sort of stopped because I thought you were adamant about it being Ed and Leighton. Then I noticed that it said 'blind item', and I'm so sure it's not Ed and Leight. First off, Ed adores Leighton, and the two are such great friends. Furthermore, Leighton is completely professional, and Ed says he loves her personality. The way the two act off-screen could never match up with what is said in that Ausiello post.

I'm thinking that little snippet could be about Penn and Hilary or Chase and Joanna. That would make much more sense.
  14. Hilary Duff, Tyra Banks Dish on Gossip Girl Roles

I love Hilary, but I don't like the idea of her on my show. Sorry, babe.
  15. Gossip Girl Promo: "Dan de Fleurette"

Jenny is my favorite character, but honestly, you guys with your Chenny is creeping me the fuck out. There are so many reasons why they would be fail.

I miss Jenny/Nate. I know I'm not the only (mourning) shipper.
  16. "The Lost Boy": What Did You Think?

Oh, I forgot about Scarter. How in the world could I forget about them?

I could care less for Scarter. Carter's up to something shady, Serena's being the dumb blonde in the relationship. It's typical. Serena's being so, so stupid. Ugh. I dislike this pairing, and I will be excited when it bites the dust.
  17. "The Lost Boy": What Did You Think?

A much better episode than the former ones, I have to say. I was impressed by this. The plotlines are interesting this time, the banter was spot-on, and the humor, elements I missed dearly from season one, was there. That's always a bonus.

I'm pretty sure I laughed for a while at, "She took my shoes?" Classic. It was so unexpected I just started cracking up. Blair can be so juvenile, but that's why I love her.

Nate and Bree... do we really care anymore? They were cute making out on the helicopter, but it should've stayed there.

Georgina was great in this episode. I never would have guessed that it was her that sent the letter to Blair, and they tied that in well with Chuck's business - that skank behind the desk? Gold. I'm pretty sure nobody expected that, which is an element of surprise Gossip Girl sometimes lacked.

    And Georgina's creepy obsession with Dan is so psychopathic it's actually funny. o_o;

I liked Dan in this episode, too. Probably because I'm a mourning DS-shipper (for the time being), and it's always nice to see them interacting.

For the full half-minute we saw Jenny and Eric, I liked that. And Jenny's style this season is so much better than last season.

    What else...

The auction had me cracking up at times where it was inappropriate. Blair puts her hand on Chuck's leg. "Your lack of focus." Gossip Girl's becoming less predictable, which I think is important, especially because of the bomb-drops the previous episodes have been. The look on Chuck/Blair's face when Serena won the picture was priceless.

Vanessa was useless this episode, but when isn't she? I actually find it funny that Jessica is such a bad actress. I was loling all over the place at the scene with Scott and Vanessa. The two are just such bad actors and it shows ridiculously obviously in their scenes. When Scott said, "I'm Rufus and Lily's son," he sounded constipated. And I just laughed out loud when Vanessa was all, "Oh my God!" with total lack of emotion.

Yeah, because seriously, finding out that your boyfriend is your best friend's half-brother isn't all that surprising. Good job, V.
  18. Gossip Girl Round Table: "The Freshmen"

Favorite quote: A mix between Vanessa's, "That's... awesome?", Blair's, "Dan's a writer?", and her, "You were right about the dorms. The lighting is awful." This episode had great dialogue. I can't believe I liked a V quote, but...

Trust least: Carter and Georgina. Mostly Georgina, though. I mean, I love a little trouble to spice up GG, because without drama, this show is nothing. But I'm slightly worried about what Georgina's going to do. I don't really need to elaborate on that, do I? And Carter... I just never have trusted him, not since season one.

Least realistic: The rooftop party. Not only would they be caught for underaged drinking, the police would have been up there in a millisecond. Gossip Girl's version of a university college is quite amusing.

Vanessa: However much I hate her, I'll have to settle for a 10. I know, it's pretty low. But she gave me a good laugh this episode - albeit, her annoyingness outweighed it. Her facial expression over Blair/Georgina was priceless.

Dangina: Mixed feelings. I found it odd that I wasn't really so torn up about it; I'm a Derena-shipper, but I'm mourning for my ship, soo... I'd like to say it's a nottie. I don't like Dan and Georgina. Simple as that.

Like: Blair realizes that Chuck was right. That lighting was awful. /: And, her realizing that she can't rule as queen at NYU, and the scene where she looked back at the party with the forlorn face. It was realistic.

Dislike: Dan's popular now? I love Dan, but I loved him as the brooding, unpopular guy that wrote little poems and stories about Serena and made fun of the popular crowd. Now... hm, I don't really like it.
  19. Gossip Girl Round Table: "The Freshmen"

    I give V a 10.
Only because she made me laugh. "That's... awesome?"
  20. "The Freshmen": What Did You Think?

I absolutely adored Chuck/Blair's last scene together. It was intimate, realistic. I was texting my friend Bonnie while we both watched. "We got like, 0 Chair scenes." Then that came on and I was like, "..oh, okay, this works. :3"

It's so something Blair would say. "The lighting is awful."

This was a great improvement from last episode. I seriously thought this one would suck, with Vanessa being idolized and Blair being outcast, but the acting from Leighton was beautifully done, and I actually loved this episode. Vanessa was annoying, and I loved Georgina in her scenes. So deliciously evil.

The highlight of the episode was probably CB's last scene, or the scene where Blair is looking back at the party while leaving. It's very realistic, very touching, and you can understand how bad and lonely she feels.

Nate and Bree are a waste of screentime. I've sort of forgot Nate was even a character, really.

Serena was extremely annoying in this episode. She's getting really childish; it was great that she didn't go to Brown, I actually like that decision. But her shit with Chuck? I mean, honestly. Chuck didn't deserve that crap from Serena, and I was so pissed. Really. And her crap with Carter looked so fake and out-of-the-blue. I liked Scarter in the first episode, but right now it's getting downright monotonous and corny.
  21. Canadian Promo For "The Freshmen"

    I just liked the Chair!kiss.
    Sue me.
  22. Three More Sneak Previews of "The Freshmen"

"Vanessa's cool, and people like her."

I just threw up a little in my mouth.
  23. Gossip Girl Sneak Previews: "The Freshmen"

    HOLY FUCK
    IS THAT VANESSA
    BEING
    PRAISED?

    i just threw up.
  24. Extended Promo For "The Freshmen"

Awwww. Chuck blows Blair a kiss. So cute. And Georgina. "I've got all my meds straightened out.."
  25. Gossip Girl Season 3 Premiere: What Did You Think?

Everyone needs to get real. The whole reason why it feels weird watching GG is because it's been forever since we've watched. Not only are WE getting back into the groove of watching, they're getting back into the groove of acting. I'll say it wasn't the best episode, but that's because it's still 'new' to us.

I happen to love this episode. Whether or not others do isn't my problem; I thought, to kick off the season, it had the scenes we needed. Cute Chair scenes - then we'll see the sex. Confusing/cute Carter/Serena scenes - then we'll see the other side of it. And etc., etc. Everyone needs to realize that the season is still new. Things will get better once we're used to it.
