The 22-year-old actress took a break from filming Gossip Girl and shot a new episode with Adrian Grenier for HBO’s Entourage.

It’s a new Entourage for Leighton Meester this week.

Leighton Meester will be reprising her role from the first season of the HBO series - she played then-virginal pop singer Justine Chapin.

When it comes to dating, in particular.

“The ideal, I think, when you’re starting out, is something low-key, like playing the [Nintendo] Wii, ordering in pizza and then grabbing a beer,” Chace Crawford, 22, told People magazine.

But come time to step out, the actor says he’d take off “to a concert in Central Park or an NBA basketball game, if she likes sports.”

His teams of choice, not at all surprisingly:

“The Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys - I’m a Texas kid!”

Crawford dated Carrie Underwood - until the pair broke up via text message - but now he’s single, staying busy with work and working out.

Guess Casey Laine is just a friend after all.

“Part of me being single is focusing on my work right now,” says Crawford, who joked, “I’ve been dating my gym bag for a while now.”

When in a relationship, though, this hot Gossip Girl guy finds himself getting creative in the gift department.

“I like to do artwork and draw,” he says.

“I did a big beautiful drawing. It was very meaningful to [my girlfriend], and she loved it … that’s the kind of stuff that I like to do.”

In “All About My Brother,” Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) outed Eric Van der Woodsen (Connor Paolo) at the dinner table, and threw us for a loop - but then she one-upped herself by blackmailing his sister, Serena (Blake Lively), threatening to reveal their dark secret.

Pushed to her limits, Serena confided in her friend Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) and revealed a truth more shocking than a sex tape.

“I killed someone,” she said.

Gulp. Looks like Serena’s in for a rough stretch.

As for Eric, maybe he can rest easy now that he’s come out. In an interview with People, Connor Paolo, 17, talks about what’s next.

People: How does it feel to be playing a gay character on a popular TV show?
Connor Paolo: I’m an actor and it’s a part. Being gay is nothing but another way to live your life. It’s just who he is.

People: A lot of gay teens will be excited to see someone gay on the show. Are you ready for that?
Connor Paolo: I guess it’s a possibility that fans could take Eric’s coming into his own as a source of inspiration. He does it with a degree of gentility and self-respect. He doesn’t make apologies for who he is.

People: Did the fact that he tried to kill himself earlier have anything to do with being gay?
Connor Paolo: As the actor portraying Eric, I don’t believe that I tried to commit suicide because of that. Eric is 14 so his decision to be gay could be permanent. It might not be. It’s about finding yourself. At the moment, this is who he sees himself as … that’s very empowering.

People: How will the news play out in the next few episodes?
Connor Paolo: My issues get swept under the rug in the face of Georgina. She has information about my family that no one else is privy to. Dealing with Georgina becomes the main focus because things become very, very hairy.

People: How will the other characters react to the news? Everyone okay with it?
Connor Paolo: Each character has their own reaction. It does seem to create a rift between me and Jenny. Chuck steps up as big brother though.

People: So this brings out the nicer side of Chuck Bass?
Connor Paolo: Eric’s relationship with Chuck is a vehicle for seeing that he does have a good side. He can be a good person when duty calls. Chuck (Ed Westwick) seems to really care about Eric. It’s a time when Eric feels very alone. Chuck does not push him away as many other people are inclined to do. Eric gets to have a good time with Chuck. Most people have been coddling him because they think he’s a suicide risk, Chuck is totally open to let Eric enjoy his life rather than try to preserve it.

People: But there are going to be some intense discussions about the fact he’s gay, right?
Connor Paolo: Is there ever a Gossip Girl [episode] without them?

People: When did you find out your character was gay?
Connor Paolo: I was told about a month ago. Two of the producers explained the situation. It seemed like a good thing. Up to this point, I’ve had a volatile role on the show. Sometimes, I’m there. Sometimes, I’m not. It’s the producers giving me more screen time and a chance to prove myself as an actor — so I wanted to make sure I delivered.

People: Did you have to keep it a secret?
Connor Paolo: We tried to keep it under wraps as long as possible.

People: How did that go?
Connor Paolo: Pretty well, actually. The cast has as much to lose by secrets getting out. There’d been a lot of conjecture but no real facts had been slipped.

People: What helped you prepare for this episode?
Connor Paolo: I feel like I know Eric better than most people so I drew on my knowledge of the character. I did have some conversations with Stephanie [Savage, the executive producer] and Joe [Lazarov, also a producer] working out the ins and outs of how this developed.

1. When was your first kiss?
Ed Westwick: Um … 6? Well, what are we talking, we’re not talking proper kiss, right? Okay, 6 and … 10. No, is that bad? Should I say 11? I’m pure and innocent.

2. Who’s your celebrity crush?
Ed Westwick: Scarlett Johansson — she has been for a while, and always will be. I love her style.

3. What’s a girl fashion trend that confuses you?
Ed Westwick: None. As long as it’s done the right way, I think it’ll be attractive. It’s not about what it is, it’s about who’s wearing it. From my limited knowledge of women’s fashion, everything is pretty good.

4. What’s the girly movie you secretly love?
Ed Westwick: There was a really good one, but I can’t think of it.

5. Who would play you in the movie version of your life?
Ed Westwick: Chace Crawford! No, no. I don’t know. Chace Crawford can play the villain. I’d like to see Daniel Day-Lewis spend three months getting into my character.

6. What’s your TV guilty pleasure?
Ed Westwick: Watching Gossip Girl [laughs]. I can’t stand watching myself on TV. I think I share the opinion of [Chuck Bass] that a lot of the audience shares: It’s a “love to hate” kind of thing. As the season’s progressed, I think everyone’s had sympathy for him. I think he’s an alluring character; he’s very interesting. He has these slices of his personality. He can be the devil, but at times he can be very charming. It can be a very dangerous concoction. I think he has a good heart, but his heart is often tempted by corrupt desires.

7. What’s your dream job?
Ed Westwick: Probably landscape gardening. I think gardens are fantastic, and I’d love to draw and design and stuff like that. I love just planting flowers during the summer. There’s something very humble about it, and natural and beautiful. When I need to think of like a peaceful scene or something, I think of my back garden in summertime. And whenever I hear the lawnmower next door, I always think it’s really peaceful.

8. If you could trade places with anyone in the world for one day, who would it be?
Ed Westwick: I’d probably choose an explorer in the Amazon or Vietnam. That’d be pretty cool!

9. Who in your family are you closest to?
Ed Westwick: Oh, I’m close to them all. We’re a really tight-knit group. I have two older brothers. I am the baby. We’re all very, very close. We’re great communicators, so we get along really well.

10. What’s your favorite Website?
Ed Westwick: Msn.co.uk, because I feel like I should know what’s going on a little bit in England, and I can read about sports or something.

11. What’s the fast food you can’t live without?
Ed Westwick: I can pretty much live without fast food. I haven’t eaten McDonald’s in so long, but it’s okay. I think the McDonald’s in England is a little bit better than it is over here. My favorite thing on the menu is the Happy Meal. It’s just enough.

12. What’s your worst habit?
Ed Westwick: I bite my nails. I’ve been chewing on them for years. As long as you don’t chew through flesh it’s all right. I wouldn’t want a manicure. I’m a man’s man!

13. What’s the last song you listened to on your iPod?
Ed Westwick: “Our House” by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.

14. What’s the last thing you bought?
Ed Westwick: The last thing I bought was probably a phone charger because I left my phone charger somewhere. Actually, I don’t think it was. It was probably chips and dip.

15. What did you dream about last night?
Ed Westwick: I can’t remember. I went to the IMAX, though, the other week, and watched The Rolling Stones’ Shine a Light. It like brainwashed me, so I spent the whole night dreaming I was the drummer, but that I didn’t know any of the songs!

16. How much money is in your wallet right now?
Ed Westwick: I don’t have a wallet.

17. Fill in the blank: When I was 17, I was ….
Ed Westwick: Learning to drive.

• Georgina sends Serena a copy of the mysterious video on a memory stick. Plus 1, because sometimes it’s the little things.

• Isn’t Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) supposed to be the skeptical outsider? Wouldn’t she see through Georgina immediately? Minus 2.

• Dan and Serena make out in the hallways as though it is not completely revolting and rude. Plus 2.

• Where is Nate in this episode? What happened to his dating Vanessa? Wouldn’t he know Georgina — and thus unravel it all? Minus 1, especially since Chuck is also completely absent.

• All of Jenny’s snotty conversations and arguments, either with her dad or with Dan, are really accurate (if a little too well composed and lacking in wobbly lower lips). Plus 3.

• Plus 2 for Eric being brave and for older, hotter, more popular Asher wimping out.

• Dan (Penn Badgley) does that endlessly annoying TV thing where he doesn’t tell anybody what the problem about Asher is. Minus 2, because he’s a teenager and he would have told everybody that could listen.

• A final Plus 2 for having everyone at the party more interested in the scandal of Jenny Humphrey and her downfall and all the lying than in anybody being gay.

• Rufus reads Jenny’s e-mail, and Lily is unsurprised. If parents at the school were that Internet savvy, Gossip Girl would have been shut down months ago. Minus 1.

• Plus 3 for introducing the Lily and Rufus “trying to be friends” plotline. Everybody knows that inevitably leads to awkward restaurant sex! Hooraaaaaaay!

• Finally, Gossip Girl is duped by fake dish - flooded by false sightings and tidbits, like even the best gossip column. However, it would be better if she continued blissfully nonetheless, so we’ll give a Minus 2.

Chace’s terrific character, Nate Archibald, did not appear on last night’s Gossip Girl episode, “All About My Brother.” But he was there in spirit … or something like that. Do you like his look?

From beginning to end, “All About My Brother” was as good as it gets in terms of drama, scandal, catiness, backstabbing, love and all the other reasons we’ve grown obsessed with Gossip Girl.

The social war between Jenny and Blair is heating up, but the “gay bomb” is about to drop as a male character is outed - and Serena van der Woodsen’s dark secret (or at least part of it) is finally revealed.
