I read everywhere that one of the boys from gossip girl was supposed to come out of the closet in this episode, but that obviously didn't happen. Is this just a development that will happen later on in the season?

No i dont think it was supposed to be this episode. But yea someone will come out... i think i know who but lets not spoil it. Tonights episode was heart wrenching btw... SO GOOD!

I haven't heard anything about that. But check the spoilers and you'll find out that Dan does something far from coming out of the closet, as do Nate and Vanessa. I think we all knew Dan couldn't stay good for long.
