Sorry I didnt post that link earlier, but I didnt know there was a forum in here... I just finished watching the ep and wanted to comment so badly, so I got here...
It was soooooo good that ep. I was shocked when Chuck asked her to say those 3 words... and I just wanted her to say it ... but then I realized that it was better this way... they make us wanting even more.
I dont want him falling for Vanessa, there was something weird about the 2 of them, i hope its friendship and ONLY that. Disagree with someone who said that Vanessa brought the good side of chuck, thats blair's job!!!
xoxo

Katie Harris, I was thinking maybe he just want to be loved... I dunno, its Chuck, he is a little twisted, and he is kinda obssesed with her. Its weird, but Everyone has a heart, so hoping They fall in love in the good way.

I haven't seen the episode yet, but I've read many spoilers, and I think I'm in the minority when I say: who the hell is Chuck to ask Blair to say those three words? There wasn't any sort of tenderness or love in the way he practically demanded it of her.
He's going to stop chasing her, he says? If you ask me, he hasn't chased her enough! We've seen barely any interaction between them since the blackout... when exactly has he been "chasing" her?! (I don't qualify the dethroning as chasing, I qualify that as cold and pathetic, and I certainly don't call it love). Am I seeing different episodes to everyone else?
For the last few episodes he's done nothing but attempt to hurt her (and oftentimes, he's succeeded). Now, I know he only has getting her back as his motivation, but the contempt with which he treated her regarding Serena was just cruel. I don't blame Blair for telling him he brings people nothing but misery. You can have something physical and emotional that is so intense. I have. But it can just as easily be all heat and no wood and it's a very easy trap to fall into in a relationship.
I'm actually glad Blair was cruel back. Nobody has the right to tell Blair to "just get over it", and Chuck ought to be a bit more humble. His transition from regret to desperation over the short time between SKOW and, I would say, The Ex-Files, has not endeared him to me. I mean, I love his character, but he's going to risk pushing Blair further and further away.
You don't keep coming back to someone who tears you apart. Eventually, you can't put yourself back together. Blair and Chuck are too immature for the kind of relationship they think they should be having.

Well, Jessica Szohr (Vannessa) in an interview did say that the thing with Chuck is just "some flirting" but that she's still hung-up on Nate, so I don't think there's any serious feelings in it at all for either Chuck or Vanessa. Even friends flirt with each other harmlessly every once in a while. Anyway, I'm seriously hoping it's just friendship for the two of them and am hoping both the writers/producers/actors make that clear on upcoming episodes, because I'm betting C/B fans will totally hit the roof with the C/V/B development and GG jusr might end up losing viewers.

Sonya , I completely agree with you. I'm a big fan of both Chuck and Blair, but if I put myself on either of their situations, I'd say Blair has had it tough. Chuck deserves all the cruelty he gets from Blair at this point. I'm actually wishing Blair won't fall for the "chasing" trap.

I've said this before, and this is probably not a very popular opinion as well, but I really want Blair to find a man who'll nurture and care for her. Someone who won't betray her, and instead, help her mature.

yees and right now chuck is turning into that guy.... i mean he's the one who asked her to say those three little words this time... it seems like he's changing and now blair has to mature into a woman instead of being a bitch... plus they are so cute together... perfect couple

Personally I think chuck is that man, if he can grow up a bit himself. But obviously he knows that, and even while pursuring that he seems scared to succeed, i mean everytime they get close he ruins it somehow, it's like he wants to get to that lvl but he's terrified he actually might get what he wants.
