I don't think Blair deserved to be dethroned either. Serena wouldn't make half as good of a "queen" as Blair, and, anyway, I really don't like Serena.
Chuck was amazing in this ep, even though ppl probably hate him now. But I think he's just doing what he did to get back at Blair for rejecting him over and over. in that way, I do think she deserved it, just a little. They'll eventually get back together, I'm sure of it.

Omgomgomg, this episode really excited me. I love how S is finally showing her true self, but I don't like that B is dethroned, I mean B is the ultimate bitch of the show, and she is such a loyal friend. And Chuck, I love you but you're back to your evil self this episode.
This episode is the bestest episode of season 2 so far. Welcome back Gossip Girl, we're loving you more and more each day.

wtf !!? i get the whole, marcus & catjerine thing, and nate, should really thank blair for helping him, as bitchy as B is , she always helps her friends, and i wouldn't like to see C & B together as much as i love them, bcuz it looks like chuck hates blair, and i'd love to see, N & B together, D & V, and serena being a bitch and C himself. .... B deserves to be the queen !! yall see.

I'm not sure i like the whole Old, Real Serena thing. I D&S, but I'm not sure I want them back together either. C&B just need to go do it. I really think that Blair will flip and destory Serena or visa versa. So I can't wait for the next episode!!

I don't think Chuck hates Blair it's probably his way of retaliating after walking in on B kissing another guy yet again. I'm so glad Marcus & Catherine are gone for good!! I don't get the Serena bitch thing, is she going back to her old ways JUST because of Dan that's quite stupid considering how hard she tried to be clean and good (also after going through Georgina) and just because of what D said she threw all her effort.
I just hope Chuck schemed to get B back because a vulnerable and lost B always runs to Chuck. C&B all the way!!

I think the writers are avoiding CB because they aren't sure how they'll work as a legitimate couple. They have amazing chemistry but it's all based on the anticipation of when they'll actually be together. Honestly, I'd rather they keep it at that for now (if not forever). It's SO entertaining and if it's not broken, don't fix it.
While I think NV make a lot of sense together, I think the writers are still decidig if they want N with V or Lil' J. I think they are going to flirt with each relationship and basically gauge who works best together. In some ways, NB would still be fantastic, what with all of their relatively unexplored history. I wouldn't mind seeing them get back together in an organic, honest way.
As far as NS is concerned, if it does happen, I think it'll be to illustrate how they've both changed since they had sex and are much better as FRIENDS now. With DS being so clearly positioned as the Romeo and Juliet of the show, the're going to have a hard time selling any relationship with either of them and someone else (be it NS or DV or whatever else).
This latest ep was great. Interesting where they are going with S. I highly doubt they'll make it last long. Ever since the writer's strike, B and S have been drama-free and I think this storyline is just to reinstall some of the frenemies vibe.
Whenever C seems a little MIA, he always ends up the ringmaster. I jope to see more of him and N together, as besties. They had some good interaction last season.
I wonder what they'll do with D for the next few weeks. Without S, D's still pretty off most the characters' radars. I mean, any sizeable amount of interaction between he and anyone other than V and Lil' J would be really contrived and unrealistic.
Poor N this season. Even those few times when people try to help him, nothing ever seems to work out. I hope they show more of his crazy mom (she reminds me of Lady Macbeth) and I wonder how they'll settle this Captain storyline.
Lil' J needs a little more to do. She's becoming the new V.
Overall, GREAT ep.

I kinda liked this episode, it was interesting and a bit different. But I totally hate the new Serena. Poor Dan and Blair!
