Blair's REAL love

   i know some of you who haven't read the books are completely infatuated with the dream of having blair to end up together with blair.

   i, however find this completely horrible.

   i don't know about the rest of you, but i'm completely in love with blair and nate's relationship. I read most of the books, and followed their ups and downs. i almost cried when nate and blair finally got together and she lost her virginity, to the best of her dreams.

   it kills me to see the seemingly small changes that have been done in her character that meant so much to me when i read the book.s they hardly show her love of audrey hepburn (or however you spell it lol) and how romantic she wanted her first time to be.

   i just wish they dont change who she ends up with, caz then it will be taking it too far.

   do you think we could start a petition? XD lol

   i totally agree!! i read the books, and loved how blair was so romantic, yet bitchy. but, i think the writers dont want us to compare the 2, 'cause they're both good in their own ways.

   but i agree with you. they definately changed blair just a LITTLE too much. and isnt serena supposed to be slightly dunce-ish???

   if you had read the rest of the books you would know blair and nate dont end up together. she goes to yale and he goes on a sailing trip around the world. the true romance of the novel is the bond nate blair and serena have. you only see a fraction of their history and a glimpse into how much they care about each other during episode 17 woman on the verge. nate dosnt choose serena or blair because he is in love with them both and he wants them to be friends while he figures out who he is. because as in the tv series nate is very conflicted.

   I have been reading GG since the first novel came out. I ADORE book!Nate & book!Blair and have always wanted them together. BUT! I absolutely love Chuck and Blair together in the show. yes, they have made some changes to GG in the translation from book to television, but I personally love both. I think both have their dramas and I think the tv Blair and the tv Chuck are perfect for one another. I think they do show her love for Audrey [not as much as the books mind you] and I also think they did show how much Blair wanted her first time to be special. She tried so hard to get Nate to realise she wanted it to be romantic and something neither would forget. I love the show and the books. Books = Nate & Blair. TV = Chuck & Blair.  XD

   i like blair and nate together

   i hope that they will be a couple. ( in a real life too) lol

   go blair and nate!

   ( just wait for season 2. if they not make blair and nate together, i think we have to think about the petition)

   ur right.  in the books, nate is in love with blair and vice verse and blair loses her virginity to nate.  whenever nate goes out with someone else - and in the books it's actually nate that goes out with georgina, not dan - and then he goes out with another girl from the Hamptons - whenever he is with someone else, he just ends up wishing he was with Blair and he is always, without fail, drawn back to her.

   i agree with all of you...

   i read the books 1 to 11 and i loved blair as the charactr in the book. Her love to audrey hepburn, her romantic heart and everything else...

   But in the tw show, blair has an other character which is cool its own way. it is a different blair but not a bad blair.

   they changed the character a lot, but i think it is okay...

   but i HOPE that blair will end up with nate in the end of the tw show, if not i will be very sad and we have to think about the petition...

   But in the tv show blair has a different character. It is a different blair, but not a bad blair. She is only differnt but in a good way I think.

   I HOPE Blair will endy up with Nate in the end of the show and if not, we should think about the petition...is it too late then ?

   okay, that was what i think about that, i love both Blairs...

   So, I read all the books(except the prequel and the new Carlyles books, which I personally despise because I think they are just a cheap follow-up due to the show and the general succes) and I must say, after finishing the last book, I was definitely going for Serena and Nate, beause I kind of felt that her love for him was REAL(especially after she wrote that letter that was destroyed by B. Blair), in comparison to Blair, who I always thought was always most in love with herself or someone who would made her look good..(nate, lord marcus..) but  that is just my opinion..

    

   And in the show..well, i think the show is a completely different thing than the book series, so it has to be treated that way..

   According to that, I would belive that Blair found her best match in Chuck(TV-Chuck, not monkey-book-Chuck, big difference there^^) and since I pursue that opinion and since I watched the finale like an hour ago, I am completely freaked out by his final decision - to ditch Blair for a slutty desinger - and nooot intrigued that Blair has to make out with ugly -haircutt-needy guy=)..but I hope( or pray) for a final reunion of them in season 2....

   (hopefully standing for Chuck and Blair, or even better Ed and Leighton=))

    i have red only 3 books, because in my country is only three books..and i was shocked when i find out that there is soo much books..

    how much are that books?
