Gossip Girl return in Australia?

   Hey Guys,

    

   I know that Gossip Girl returns in America on the 21st of April, but is this worldwide, or just in the US? It would be great if it was worldwide, but I somehow doubt it. I can't wait for the new eps :-) I'm guessing I'm not the only one wondering this...

   I have a friend who lives in Australia and she said that it was expected back in June but only on cable, she mentioned the channel but I don't remember it.

   Check the guide listings for June when they become available.

   Have any of you Australian viewers considered downloading them?

   Fox 8 (the channel it runs on in Australia) doesn't have a date listed anywhere I can find, but I'm sure they'll advertise heavily before it comes back on since they've always been good about advertising for it. June sounds pretty much on par though. :) And as an Australian viewer, I download. It's so much easier, and being a heavy internet user, avoiding spoilers is impossible, so I like being up-to-date. And then I still watch the episodes when they air on Fox8 and I'll buy the DVDs when they come out, so I don't feel so guilty, haha.

   The only choice is to download it if you want to view it straight away. Gossip Girl airs on a cable channel called FOX8 in Australia, but they only started airing it once US was up to episode 10 or something. They only caught up due to the writers strike. They haven't played the new eps yet. Even if Australian network TV got GG, they would stuff it up. With overseas shows they tend to mix up the order of episodes or cut shows mid season and say its a season final.
