Ah, the first week of the new year. The holiday greetings and gay happy meetings have come to a close, and you're left with a full voicemail box, an overflowing inbox and the sense that the entire world is tilting left, which may indicate that you're still slightly hungover from New Year's Eve or that you have the beginnings of an inner ear infection. The only thing keeping you afloat as you trudge through the longest day of the work year is this: You know she loves you. And tonight, at 8 ET on the CW, Gossip Girl returns.Because I love you too (though obviously not as much as Gossip Girl does), I've compiled all of the spoilers and speculation about the second half of Season 2 into one post. There are actual, legitimate, confirmed spoilers below. Read at your own risk!First up, Michelle Trachtenberg will return as Serena's frenemy, Georgina Sparks, which can only mean excellency.Last time Georgina roared into town we got possibly the best confession in television history. (Serena: "I murdered someone!") Blair ultimately had Georgina shipped off to St. Mary's Center for Incurably Criminal Hos, but not before Georgina, um, handily assisted Dan Humphrey with some stuff. Michael Ausiello reported the news of Georgina's return yesterday, and also mentioned that there's a rumor going around that she is actually Rufus and Lily's long lost love child. (Because that won't mess Dan up forever.)Secondly, Laura Breckenridge, who you might remember from Loving Annabelle, is coming on to play a very young English teacher at Constance Billiard.When the news first broke, it was reported that Breckenridge's character would "sink her claws into Blair." Sadly, that turned out to be entirely academic. No lesbian love affair with the older teacher for Blair Waldorf just yet. Apparently, Breckenridge will be the cougar to Dan's Pacey Witter.Thirdly, there is a confirmed pregnancy in the works. It's not Lily, Serena or Jenny, and that's all we know. Someone will be great with child before the season is over, though. My money is on Eleanor or Vanessa.Finally, there's apparently a storyline in the pipe that is so racy even Jessica Szohr (Vanessa) was shocked to find out about it. When asked about details, Szohr would only say that when she read the script, she was like, "They can do that?!"Unconfirmed rumors are as follows: Lily will be attacked, and the identity of the attacker will shock us; not all of Constance Billiard's seniors will go to college; Jack Bass is coming to town to fight Chuck over Bass Industries; and Rufus and Lily's secret will finally come out.It seems like the writers are going to give us the kind of season back-end we missed last year because of the strike. Can't be Blair, she has already to deal with Chuck's problems, Jack Bass, her relapse, the new English teacher and Georgina, that would be too much! And I think that it would totally ruin her character: her projects for Yale, her "prim and proper" behavior...
So there's Vanessa and Elenaor left. It would give V a storyline because she totally lacks one and if Eleanor got pregnant that would be spicy! But that's only what I think so it might be B in the end!

People, lets think! If it is true ans someoneis going to become pregnant, we need at least two people :)) I don't think B is in mood or position to find someone to conceive a baby. With J? No way! The next candidate - S. But I don't really think it would be her. S and D must have sex before it, but we know that their couple is under the threat once again, since L and R decided to look for their child and D already knows bout it. Little J? Lily one more time? Eleonor? With all my respect to E, I don't think it is her. So, Vanessa? And who's be the dad? Nate...or JaCK ;) Remember, rumour has it that V and J will have smth in common?

Maybe if Dan didn't find out about the child, it could've been S. It's not like those two are good at waiting... The spoilers said it wasn't her, though. I bet it's Vanessa.

I think what will happen is that, the secret is about Jack found out that Blair was pregnant during New Year's and that with all that is happening, she did not want Chuck to find out. And Jack is using that to make Chuck mad. hahaha I dunno, just a hunch. Someone pregnant = Blair, Secret = Jack finding out that about Blair.
Plus, Vanessa and Nate having a baby??? Vanessa having a kid... A BIG EWWW

Isabel, the last time Chuck and Blair had sex was way back last may, after lily and bart's wedding...so if she was preganant she'd be 7 months gone!! somehow, i don't think so...
And as much as i love the idea of blair being pregnant with a little basshole, now just isn't the right time

I think it's Eleanor. But will all due respect, Eleanor is 50 in real life and Cyrus is 65. Their chance of conceiving is not exactly high. I really think a pregnancy right now is unnecessary. The ONLY person who I guess it might make sense for is Lily (judging by the new year's promo, she and Rufus certainly have fun one night) since (imo) the rest of them are too young. But, apparently, it's not her. If Chuck and Blair get back together and she gets pregnant, Chuck would certainly freak out and probably go back to Bangkok. And I certainly hope it's not Vanessa, that would give her a storyline. She hasn't been in the past two episodes, and I would like to keep it. Plus, Nate+Vanessa reproducing= The most annoying kid on earth.

I think it's Eleanor who is pregnant, simply because she was in the books and they seem to be following Eleanor's storyline from the books pretty well.
I think Dan is the one who won't go to college, but i'm probably wrong because im just hoping that chuck ends up going to yale (along with serena, nate and blair).
Im hoping Blair didnt sleep with jack...Im really hoping he saw her eating disorder and shes trying to hide it because she strives to be perfect, but im prolly wrong :(
I cant wait till next week :D

i personally think that it should be blair who is pregnant because then it could be a reason and hope that chuck and blair will stay or gwt together finally...that would be great.

yeh i wud love if b was carrying a "little basshole" but 1 from c not jack cuz thtd b sicckk. anyways love chair, but im sure it elanor if its happening at all
