Ok I'm a huge fan of CHAIR and I wanted to ask the Nate and Blair fans why they think that pair would make a better couple than Blair and Chuck. Just askin' here people, don't start yelling! D:

THIS MIGHT SOUND TOTALLY WEIRD BUT IS IT WORNG FOR ME TO LOVE CHUCK AND NATE BOTH WID BLAIR? CHUCK AND BLAIR WERE NEVER MEANT TO BE AND TURNS OUT THEY HAVE UNDENIABLE CHEMISTRY AND FEELINGS FOR EACH OTHER. NATE IS A JERK FOR NEVER FORGIVIN BLAIR (4 SLEEPIN WID CHUCK) AFTER SHE FORGAVE HIM FOR SLEEPIN WID SERENA. MAYBE ITS TIME FOR BLAIR TO STEP INTO HER OWN SHOES AND OUTSHINE NATE, SERENA AND CHUCK. WOT I MEAN IS THAT SHE HAS HER OWN LITTLE ADVENUTRE WITH SOMEONE NEW AND FRESH! DEFINATELY NOT LORD MARCUS! SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T WANT TO SHACK UP WITH LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE SERENA AND JUST WANTS TO BE WITH BLAIR. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT PLOT, NATE SEEING BLAIR CHANGE INTO SOME DIFFERENT WHEN SHES NOT WITH HIM OR CHUCK, CHUCK WANTING HIS GIRL BACK AFTER PUSHING HER AWAY ALL THE TIME.
BUT WE DEFINATELY NEED TO SEE SOME MORE NAIR ACTION THOUGH. DOES BLAIR STILL HAVE FEELINGS FOR NATE? HAS NATE FORGIVEN BLAIR IN HIS OWN TIME AND STILL HAS FEELINGS FOR HER? WILL CHUCK EVER SAY 3WRDS!!!

i also like nate for blair and it could be interesting to watch that nate would be there for blair as her friend, considering that blair was always there to help him out (i.e catherine trouble). after awhile, he'll "see the real blair clearly" again and eventually falls in love with her.. but chuck SHOULD get blair in the end.. i wish.. then EDWARD CULLEN would guest star and steals blair's heart.. hahaha...

I really like blair but im not too sure her and nate go together. i think that chuck and blair go together better than nate and blair cus chuck suits blair more! Nate is more of a serena type of man!

yeah, n and b are not really good together, nate never deeply in love with blair, it's just like a routine love because they was dating since,dunno,kindergarten???
blair and chuck, they're good together, but untill when?? they just like play games, and now, i'm kinda boring of seeing that.

I like both couples. It's just that Blair really loves Nate. It's obvious. When Nate cheated on her, she forgave him IMMEDIATELY. But when chuck didn't show up she was so mad. and it took her a while to forgive chuck. And it's also evident that chuck's insecure with the whole nate and blair thing. Remember ep 18 season 1, he and blair were going to be together again, but he really had to say the line, you dont belong to nate, never have, never will. And in ep 1 of season 2 when he saw the heart pendant. It was obvious that he recognizes the fact that Blair is in love with Nate. as in real love. that was the part when he sort of wanted to give up. when he asked blair if he feels the same way with Marcus as it was with Nate. And the whole chuck and blair thing was an accident, a beautiful accident. : )) . It was a moment of desparation for Blair to get back at Nate or something.

They complete each other.
Chuck and Blair are too much of the same person in my opinion.
Nate is more calm, and level headed. Thats what she needs, rather than having her love interest causing her more confusion to her already hectic life. she needs the escape and lets just face it, Nate has always been that for her. Especially having been with her through her toughest times when her parents divorced.
The idea of chuck and blair are cute with passion and intensity but she just really needs someone who will be there for her unconditionally and won't add on to her tumult-filled life.

Like the post above me said, Nate kind of balances Blair out. At the moment I really find her to be whiny, scheming and spoiled.. and I really think someone like Chuck would just make that more .. emphasized? Mostly because he's exactly like her. Nate is more level-headed and seems far more caring. Blair seems to need someone like Nate right now, hence their new friendship blooming. They've been friends forever too.
Chuck really gets spiteful and vindictive when he doesn't get what he wants, which isn't necessarily good for any relationship.
