Gossip Girl season 1 comes out on August 19, 2008 for $60.00, but you can go to amazon.com and get it for $40.00 and pre-order it online....

Season one hasn't come out yet here in america so your going to have to order it online or wait until August 19th in america to buy it in the store for a bigger price then online.
