Dan and Serena!!!!!!!!! They are perfect for each other and are so sweet together. They really do balance each other out, as mentioned earier. It's tragic that they are apart right now. I think Dan needs to grow up a little bit first and learn to be less self-righteous and judgemental. Once he does that, things would work. Dan has had a crush on her since they were children, and Serena thought they were forever. Their love is enough to work through this, and just be together. (Then again, it is TV..)
Nate and Serena would be a very boring, expected couple. What a yawn that would be. They have no chemistry. The sex scene at the wedding was different, because it was something that was forbidden and wrong, but they would have little chemistry now. They just wanted something they couldn't have. Plus after what a great friend B has been to S - helping her through the whole ordeal in the last few episodes, and forgiving her for sleeping with Nate - would S really do that to B again??? That would ruin the credibility of the show...
Blair and Chuck should work things out, even though Chuck may never change his womanizing ways. They have great chemistry. I don't know if Blair and Nate could work as a couple again, too much has happened. They should stay friends for sure, but I would not be opposed to them working things out.
I liked Nate and Vanessa, I think they should give it another try.
And Jenny is too young and immature to date, she should focus on school and family right now and find out who she really is.
Lily and Rufus are another tragic couple, they should be together but it isn't feasible with their current lifestyles. Lily and Bart are not perfect for each other but it seems to work for now... I think if Lily and Rufus were actually together it would be less exciting, because what makes us root for them is the fact that they aren't together. Plus they would have all kinds of problems as a couple. They could work it out... but I would rather have Serena and Dan together, and have Rufus and Lily continue to dance around the idea of being together but never actually making it work.
