So Vanessa is suppose to be getting together with an "older man" for the longest time speculation was Rufus (ewwww gross) cut with the addition of 30 year old Jack bass i'm thinking we have found the older man.

They said that Vanessa will be getting a more star storyline to try to get her out of the fans' bad side. So I guess you're right

Vanessa with an older man is grose but I wud prefer if she got with Jack Bass rather than Rufus.

well.. as long as V stays the hell away from Nate Chuck and Dan.. i dont really give a *** who she ends up with. =)
Chuck. ESPECIALLY chuck. coz he belongs with blair.
actually i disliked her from the moment she climbed thru the fire escape into the loft in season one interrupting dan and serena's make out session.
the fact that she hooked up with nate made it worse... i loved that moment when blair made that comment at the bass-van der woodsen wedding about her and men-in-love-with-serena.

That could prove to make Vannessa a bit more interesting. Although personally I think the writers need to give her a huge personality makeover rather than throw a 30year old guy at her.
I still think that Blair might be the one who catches his attention.But who know's.

^ yeah, it would be interesting if someone were to fall bad for Blair. Just to keep things interesting while we wait for C and B to be together in the "future"; especially if they're gonna keep having Chairless episodes like "Bonfire of the Vanity". Of course B wont fall for him in return...but just to liven things up for awhile, it would be alot of fun to have someone hopelessly in like with her/trying to please her ;]
and correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Aaron Rose end up falling for Blair in the books after he met her? Now that would be reeeeaaally interesting...I'd love to see how Serena would react to a guy she likes actually preferring Blair. imo, it would be fun to see, and wonderfully complicate things. =]

I'm with you Riley. I'm so sick of everyone in love with Serena. She's boring and fake. Let's turn the tables on the "It Girl" for a change and have all the men she likes fawning over Blair!!! Maybe that will finally make Chuck realize what he's about to lose...
Go Chair! Serena and Vanessa need to go away on a trip together for about 6 episodes and let's see what happens.
