It's all relative, if you were actually in her shoes, you'd probably see it through different eyes, thats what she does, thats who she is, she is incredibly lucky but I'm not resentful towards her because she feel it is limiting her, if she wants to be able to do different types of things well good on her. I mean I dont want her to leave GG because I love Serena and GG wouldnt be the same, but I think their filming schedule is a bit nuts. To have to devote so much of your life to one project and to have to be 'Serena' for most of her year, I can imagine that would become quite monotonous, and quite confusing.. where does Serena end and Blake begin...? playing other characters will also just help to her discover herself etc etc etc, growing experiences yada yada yada.. get what I'm blabbing on about?

Exactly. But I don't understand that how Leighton and Ed can play in movies at the same time...

actually I can not imagine gg without her! I mean I'm a Blair fan's but gg it's Serena! In every episode it's start with her face and her hair when G said you know you love me!! PLEASE BLAKE DON'T GO!!

guys -- she can't go. like Sarah said, every episode starts with her face. gossip girl isn't gossip girl without Serena VDW. nuff said.

Well they all signed contracts for at least seven seasons if the show lasts that long.
They do work long hours, but I think in the long run it's worth it for the cast. This show has buzz and the writing is usually pretty good.

Serena ought to get her hair dreadlocked at Brown and come home at Thankgiving a total hippie chick!

This is all she said
“We shoot nine months out of the year, so there are so many films I can’t do.On my latest movie I would go and take a day off from Gossip Girl in New York and go to Connecticut and shoot that and then come back the next day. And they don’t really like to share you.”
And the journalist basically exploited her honesty and turned it into she's tired of GG. Most celebs are too fake to even say what they actually think, while Blake is actually diplomatic.
Blake has always mentioned how happy she is to be on GG and how the publicity allows her to make independant films that are not commercially appealing. Right from the start her plan was to make films between GG seasons. Doing other work would expand her talent and range and bring newer elements into the performance in GG That's all, she isnt tired of GG.

I think she means it just gets a bit repetitive doing the same character over and over again but if ed and leighton and chace can do films then why cant blake!! but she should be lucky that she got the part for such a successful role this si the role that kinda made her famous xx
