ok, CLEARLY it is BART BASS that dies. In this pic Chuck is OBVIOUSLY upset and having a confrontation with Dan. Heres my best guess... Bart dies and then Chuck finds out that Dan submitted his story about Chucks relationship with his father which totally sets Chuck Off.

Well obviously Chuck finds out that Dan published his story about him and his father, which is pretty much what everyone else has said, and then Serena defends Dan from being beaten up by chuck.

Mikey M's comment made me laugh, though I'm not sure why. While I kinda hope it is Bart, that's only if it means Lily and and Rufus get their shit together. Otherwise, I'm all for it being the Captain although nothing seems to point to that.
