As we reported earlier in the week, Leighton Meester just released her new single "Somebody To Love," a collaboration with singer-songwriter Robin Thicke.

The awesome actress' previous foray into music, Gossip Girl fans probably all remember, was guest vocals on Cobra Starship's hit "Good Girls Go Bad."

Teaming up with the band was fun, but she's been in the studio, writing and recording her own stuff. Here's what she had to say in a Q&A with Buzznet:

Q: Do you have a morning bathroom routine? If so what does it entail from when you get out of bed until you are dressed for the day?

Leighton Meester: I do exactly what everyone does, my butler brings me breakfast in bed, and I get up when my massage is over. Obviously not the case, I wake up early usually but occasionally get days when I can sleep in, so by that time, it's unfortunate to say, I check my phone and emails.

Then I shower, clean my face with la roche posay and dr haushka products, chanel also makes a great foaming cleanser, brush my teeth, I decide what to wear, which is really fun because I have a huge, fairly organized closet, my apartment's best feature. If I have time I make a coffee. But I'm usually out the door within 30.

Q: Who was your first kiss? Details ... How old were you? Where were you?

Leighton Meester: I was 16, a guy I knew through friends from school, he was walking me home from the movies, and I honestly was so nervous and couldn't believe I was getting my first kiss, so I don't remember much else but turning around and running home. People would always play spin the bottle and truth or dare but I never went through with it when it was my turn because I didn't want that to be my first kiss.  My friend from middle school and I were talking about that recently, we were pretty much not interested in guys at that age.

Q: What do you have hanging on your walls in your bedroom? Posters? Artwork?

Leighton Meester: I have a beautiful oil painting my best friend/boyfriend had made for me.  He told the artist about me, my favorite colors and poetry and she painted a large very special abstract work I have hanging in my dining room. It came with a disc of the music she listened to while painting it.

Here's a little Gossip Girl spoiler / teaser from EW's column today, and it's a sad one for those of us who love the friendship of Jenny and Eric (everyone) ...

Q: Jenny is so boring on Gossip Girl. Please tell me she will become mean.

A: Looks like she will - mean enough to drive her BFF away. I hear Jenny and Eric’s relationship will suffer big time due to her new “Queen Bee” status.

Hopefully whatever feud E and J have doesn't last long.

You gotta hand it to TMZ. One day after their hilarious Taylor Momsen look-alike, the celeb gossip site may have one-upped its own absurdity with this one.

Check out Rufus-Lily spawn Scott (Chris Riggi) at The Stepfather premiere in NYC Monday, and living Broadway legend Liza Minnelli at an event last month.

Liza actually made it into our library of Gossip Girl quotes this season when Chuck told B "the only queens at NYU are the ones with tickets to see Liza."

Awesome. But not as much as these two having the same hair ...

Who's better looking?

As the sneak previews made abundantly clear, there's plenty of drama and scandal coming our way in Monday's episode of Gossip Girl, "Enough About Eve."

Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley certainly had plenty of support at the after-party for the premiere of his new flick, The Stepfather, in New York on Monday night.

His #1 fan, girlfriend and co-star Blake Lively, was there to support her man. Dan and Serena may be just friends these days, but these two are so cute ...

In the thriller, opening nationally this Friday, the Gossip Girl guy goes head-to-head with his suspicious stepdad, played by Nip/Tuck's Dylan Walsh.

Let the record show that we think Taylor Momsen is an absolutely gorgeous gal, and we're even fans of her edgy style (at least most of the time).

That said, this photo from celebrity gossip site TMZ is pretty funny.

The site notes the similarity between the Gossip Girl teen queen and the murderous, possessed doll Tiffany from the '80s/'90s Child's Play movies.

Leighton Meester, scored a big hit in tandem with Cobra Starship on "Good Girls Go Bad" this summer. Now she's singing about finding "Somebody to Love."

The actress we know and love as Blair Waldorf, who is also an aspiring singer, debuted her new track this morning on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show.

"I really wanted to make something completely different," Leighton told Ryan. "I feel like it's dancey and fun, but still laid-back, relaxed, moody and sexy."

The track, which features Robin Thicke, is the first single off the Gossip Girl star's first album, which she hopes will be released by the end of the year.

LovelyLively: Georgina nonchalantly admitting that she drugged poor Scott into telling her his life story. Michelle Trachtenberg is so awesome.

Gossip Guy: Oh man, I loved all of Blair's snide comments in front of Bree at dim sum. Like about Southerners' penchant for slavery. LOL.

Mister Meester: My inner cheeseball is going with Rufus' "we leap" speech, Lily's confession that Rufus is "the best man and father I have ever known," and Scott tearfully pleading for his parents to be together. Sorry guys. I'm lame.

2. Was this the best episode of the season so far?

LovelyLively: I'd have to say so. The four previous episodes culminated in a great one last night. It had humor, romance, deception, and Georgina being delightfully, bat$h!t insane. Talk about loving to hate someone. Also, kudos to the writers for Carter's story line being so much better than last season's.

Mister Meester: Yes. Because it was entertaining from beginning to end with little filler, people actually acted like they had brains, several important story lines were wrapped up, and next week was teased in exciting fashion.

Gossip Guy: Duh, of course. My man Rufus finally got back his pair from season one and locked that $h!t down.
