So we're told in this extended version of the CW's promo for next week's Gossip Girl, "Enough About Eve." It looks like Serena is going to take on Bree's cousins in a high-stakes game with none other than Carter as the prize.

Below are excerpts from New York Magazine's famed reality index of the previous night's episode Gossip Girl, a weekly postmortem that's not to be missed.

We've posted our official episode recap of "Rufus Getting Married." Now here are some highlights from NY Mag's totally arbitrary, uniquely funny analysis:

• Vanessa's IM name is "Docugrl191" and Olivia Burke's is "Olivia." Plus 2.
• The Bleecker! At last, the name of their fictional coffee shop. Minus 1.
• Georgina served Scott "several glasses of wine slightly enhanced." Plus 2 for the way she just slipped that in there, like it was something only vaguely shameful, like a glass of Chardonnay with ice cubes in it.
• Not only would Dan not have a mini-PC, but he also wouldn't type on it on the street like a blind person. Seriously, is that a Star Trek outtake? Minus 2.
• Serena: "That was by far your best wedding. Who would have guessed nine months later Klaus would have Auf'ed?" Awesome line, but only gets Plus 1: Lily's wedding picture doesn't even include her husband's face.

• Blair hates Bree so much she calls her a future "NASCAR mom." She's watched Nate get with so many girls, why does she care so much now? Minus 1.
  
• Lily always wears chandelier earrings, usually turquoise. Plus only 1, because they are mitigated by Vanessa's matching ridiculous cocktail rings.
• Eric is wearing a TERRIBLE beige-and-black short-sleeved button-down shirt for half the episode. Beige on black is like blood on the dance floor - it's only okay if it's really dark and everyone's drunk. Minus 3.
• Chuck: "Buntautuk. I learned it from a master in Chiang Mai." Plus 1, if not for realism, for reminding us of Chuck's hilarious lost weekend in Thailand.
• If Carter Baizen, whom we are meant to believe is a prominent member of Upper East Side society, was engaged to be married to a Buckley, another prominent family, wouldn't Serena have known? Minus 7.
• Lily's first reaction to Georgina's dramatic reveal of Scott's parentage is to look all annoyed, like "Oh, GREAT. And now he's walked away. Do I have to do EVERYTHING? THANKS, everyone. For NOTHING." Plus 1.

Here is first promo for next Monday's all-new episode of Gossip Girl, the sixth of this season. The title is "Enough About Eve," and the stakes are getting higher.

For Carter Baizen, they're at an all-time high. Bree's family has a score to settle. The promo below is a little confusing, but the episode sure does look intense.

Oh, and BTW, Chuck is kissing a dude.

Now that Bree Buckley is out of the picture, and Carter Baizen looking like he could be soon as well does that clear the way for Nate and Serena to get together?

All signs point to yes, at least according to what we've seen on the show this season, heard up until this point, and read in E! Online's spoiler Q&A this morning.

Q: I'm dying for Gossip Girl scoop! Will Nate and Serena get together? Or Dan and Blair? I keep hearing rumors, but I have to know if they are true.

A: One of them is. And I know you smarty-pantses will figure it out: Nate and Serena are definitely circling toward somethin' somethin' (yee!), while I'm told there is nothing in the future (at least not yet) for Blair and Dan.

The Gossip Girl writers wouldn't Dair, would they? (Ba-dum-bump.) And in all seriousness, Blair and Chuck are still going strong.

Is a coupling up of Serena and Nate just around the corner?

Q: Does the Gossip Girl threesome involve Rufus? I was told it involved Serena's little brother but can't be sure. That can't be right, can it?

A: The idea of Roofie in a threesome kinda makes me throw up in my mouth a little. Sorry. It's not Rufus Humphrey. The threesome participants are cuter and younger, but not as young as Eric van der Woodsen.

We said it last week and we'll say it again:

It's gotta be Dan-Vanessa-Olivia, right?

Last night's Gossip Girl was a wild ride from beginning to end.

Georgina showed her true colors - those of a full-on crazy person - and almost ruined everything. But Rufus and Lily did end up getting married, thanks to Scott of all people, and it looks like G might be getting hers soon.

Meanwhile, Carter Baizen revealed to Serena some bad things he did before they were an item. Things that Bree Buckley's family wants payback for.

The title of tonight's episode, "Rufus Getting Married," pretty much says is all.

Or does it? Will Rufus really wed Lily, seen as an inevitability since the pilot?

Not if Georgina Sparks has anything to say about it.

She's pissed about Dan's infatuation with Olivia and is threatening to ruin everything if she doesn't get her way. She enlists Vanessa to help break them up.

Meanwhile, there's the lingering mysteries of Carter and Bree. How do they know each other? Will this connection come to a head at the wedding as well?

We've watched loads of previews and promos, browsed through the photo gallery and read spoilers galore for the episode. All we can do now is enjoy.

Penn Badgley recently spoke to OK! about what really goes on between takes on the set of Gossip Girl. You know, little things like Chace Crawford’s dancing skills, the occasional diaper-changing and, oh yeah, threesomes!

At the Hennessy Artistry Series Finale Wednesday, Penn wouldn’t say who is in the Gossip Girl threesome, but he did dish on other series deets ...

Q: How do you keep busy between takes?

Penn Badgley: “Threesomes! [laughs] That’s an interesting question. Mostly we just hang out with the crew.”

Q: Matthew Settle, who's expecting her first child, has said he’s going to have the cast change diapers on the set. Has he gotten around to that yet?

Penn Badgley: “He hasn’t told me, but I don’t doubt that."

"He’s a bundle of laughs and many other things. I imagine that’s true. He’ll probably bring his baby on set, and have us do that for him.”

Penn Badgley (Dan Humphrey) is always good for a sound bite.

Q: How are Chace Crawford’s dancing skills?

Penn Badgley: “I haven’t seen them. He was going to show them to Blake [Lively] at one point, but that never happened. He’s probably getting very good.”

Q: Seen him dancing in the background?

Penn Badgley: “You know what I saw him do one time? He did a little bit of a move coming across ... the Usher foot slide. And I didn’t realize what he was doing, and then I realized ‘oh, he’s training right now.’ It was over quickly."

"It was very brief. He thought nobody was watching.”
