  Hey all. This is my first post, but I've enjoyed GG from the pilot and came to realize that I have a crush on Serena/Blake. But who doesn't, right? Anyway... Dan-Serena: Anyone else find the whole "Serena-Nate-Dan" dream sequence a bit disturbing? I can understand why it was important to highlight Dan's nervousness to his "eventually" with Serena (and who wouldn't?), but that was just an odd, yet memorable way to show it. Oh and I'm probably the only one that's asking how Dan's makeshift bookcase above his bed doesn't crumble and crush them both with all those books! Extra points for changing those sheets, buddy. And great idea with the candles. Vanessa: I want the best things for this girl (rooting for the underdog has been a habit of mine) and I hope she finds love, too. And soon. Pining for Dan is such a waste of time, but does add some tension to the mix. Jenny: Climbing social ladders is tough -- just ask Jenny. I am glad that the focus of this particular episode isn't about getting into some exclusive party or kissing Blair's ass (more on that later). I did wish she went to her mom's place sooner, though. She's obviously still hanging on to the idea that her mom will come home and I can only predict more heartache for the youngest Humphrey. Chuck-Blair: I think the majority of GG fans knew this was coming. These two have this sick, love-hate relationship that's a lot of fun to watch. Although I'm not surprised that they hooked up, I am looking forward to being surprised as to how this will all play out in the next few episodes. Hear that, writers? Oh yeah... they're all picketing. Damn you, greedy studios! And yes, Blair, you have great moves -- I've never seen Chuck so mesmerized. Rufus-Lily-Bart: Nothing you can already see on daytime soaps, so I don't keep track of the older characters much. So... did I miss anyone/anything? Thanks for reading. :-)
