I prefer Dan and Serena as friends, so this makes me happy:) They were cute in season 1, but they need to date other people. Serena and Nate never really got their chance and Dan and Vanessa were together in the books so they should work that into the show. Derena may still be end game, but I don't really care so much either way.
What is with the Jessica hate? I get the Vanessa hate, but Jessica is a different person who we only get to know through interviews. I don't think anyone really knows her well enough to hate her. I don't really think she is a bad actress as Vanessa is not a very good character, the writers just sort of threw her out there without giving her a real personailty or any sort of consistancy or character development, so Jessica doesn't have a lot to work with. Vanessa isn't ever really used as a character, she's always just a plot device to either throw a wrench in another character's story line or to make sure Nate isn't single more than five minutes.
