"Sucky" Vanessa? Vanessa is not only the sole "real" (average girl most teens can actually relate to) Vanessa is the most attractive girl on the entire cast. Don't find it hard to believe that some of us don't see Vanessa as a villain. I certainly don't. If anyone, I see Blair and Chuck as the "sucky" characters.

No. Mischa had her turn, she should let everyone else have theirs. I don't want Gossip Girl to turn anything out like the OC. When the OC's run ended, they barely had any viewers left. The storylines were so twisted, no one even knew what was going on. Having Mischa as apart of the cast would just bring back that feeling of Deja vu.

I LOVE the show Gossip Girls, but there's just a few things that disturb me about the show.

Since the show fails to comply to the book 100%, why couldn't one of the main characters have been Asian or Black or Latino?

Okay, maybe that is a bit much for "American" telivision, Okay, but the show could have atleast given Isabel and Kati ( Blair's two token minority puppets) more lines and a slightly larger part in the series. Even the character of Vanessa Abrams is undermined  on the show.

As I have already mentioned before, I think this is a great show for a young adult audience, the only thing I am afraid of is, that it's not for ALL adult audiences.

The only reason that  Vanessa Abrams, Nicole Fiscella, and Nan Zhang were casted, we so that the makers of Gossip Girl could pull the "we're a diverse cast" card.

    See...here's my reasoning.

Serena is a great girl, but she's still a spoiled brat, I don't think that Dan has enough to satisfy her. Even though Serena has changed a lot since her romp with Nate, I don't think she's good enough for Dan,  Dan and Serena aren't really even friends. They are just physically attracted to each other. It's different with Vanessa.  I mean, he's attracted to Vanessa AND they can talk about anything. Dan and Serena have a flame. And as we all know....flames burn out. I love Jessica Szohr (Vanessa) and I think that the show totally ignores her beauty. I think she is the prettiest girl on the cast. Vanessa is so myseterious, yet...relatable. Her and Dan are made for each other.
