• Gossip Girl Spoilers: Couples Update (11/19/2009)

  I want Chuck and Blair, Nate and Jenny, Serena and Carter (mostly i just want Carter on the show), Vanessa and Dan. But im hoping it will be a long time till they all get with the right people, take it from Chair its not that interesting. i have to say that i totally agree with the sentiment about carter. i am glad they are going there with nate and serena cause they just sort of dropped that whole dyamic but i also want to see some resolution to nate and jenny. scarter was awesome and carter is the best so anything that brings him back full time, they should do. icing on the cake would be to rekindle scarter. maybe a nate-serena-carter triangle down the road?

  Samantha Says: November 17th, 2009 8:10 PM Obviously it's Tripp's wife who is pregnant because Blair says that right after it shows his wife saying a line... right because they never edit the promos to mislead or confuse the viewers...
  

• Round Table: "The Last Days of Disco Stick" (11/17/2009)

  blair was back this episode for sure. i loved her line "I have an army to build, a school to take over, and girls to blackmail." if for no other reason than it felt like a total shout out to the princess bride "i have a wedding to arrange, my wife to murder and guilder to frame for it. i'm swamped" and because cyrus was vizzini i choose to beleive the reference was intentional. i really like olivia this episode and was sorry to see her go although i was happy with how they handled her exit, i feared for the worst after carter's uncerimonious disappearence. i also loved nate this episode who has always been a meh character for me but recently is evolving into someone awesome. serena definitely makes the worst decisions. i like how she found the flimsiest excuse to go ahead and become the other woman. jenny's character gets better and better. i like how reckless and ruthless and self destructive she is and we need that now that chuck has outgrown his self destructive tendencies. this episode was great. loved it.

• Pregnant (11/17/2009)

  can i point out that we have no idea at what point in the show blair is saying "you're the one whose pregnant".  it is possible that what she thought was something else and then she finds out that her mother is preggers and the clip is from a point later in the show.  i am not saying that this is what happens but it is possible. 

• Extended promo served hot (11/17/2009)

  what does serena say to tripp at the beginning?  i can't understand her mumbling.

• Last Episode Felt Like Season 1! (11/17/2009)

  totally season 1, even episode 1.

  nate pining after serena, serena involved with a guy in a relationship, blair upset at serena and feeling betrayed, dan is lonely boy again, the dynamic with vanessa, jenny is trying to prove herself but instead of proving that she is like blair now she's proving that she is like chuck.  blair is scheming successfully, nate and serena are in a love triangle.  there were even references to the chuck and jenny interaction at the kiss on the lips party and of course the wedding hook up.  it was a total return to the beginning and i think it's brilliant.
