Gossip Girl star Blake Lively was spotted at the Armani Exchange store in New York City Friday night with her pet pooch and some friends.

Last week, Blake was reportedly seen having lunch with co-star Penn Badgley in San Fernando Valley, Calif. More than friends, perhaps?

We doubt it, but hey, it's fun to speculate. Anyway, here's Blake Lively and her small, four-legged friend from the other night in NYC ...

Blake and the rest of the Gossip Girl cast (without Mischa Barton) will be back with all-new episodes of the show on Monday, April 21.

This summer (tentatively scheduled for August 8), you can also catch Blake Lively in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2!

Maybe there's not as much acting as you thought on the set of Gossip Girl, according to a report in today's Chicago Sun-Times.

It's not the first time we've heard this gossip, but it's still worth posting. And this time, Chace Crawford is also involved.

A show staffer reports that there's no love lost between stars Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf), Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald) and Blake Lively (Serena van der Woodsen) - at least the last time they were together.

The writers' strike has shut down production of the hit CW series for months, though it's now over, with new episodes set to return this spring.

"At times it was so ugly, people only would talk to each other when they had to - delivering lines in a scene," said the source.

"What's funny ... when they would be throwing really bitchy lines at each other, it was often things [the actors] really thought about each other."

Perhaps real-life jealousy and intense competition for media attention is helping give Gossip Girl the edge that we love to see?

"They all put on a good front - pretending to be so buddy-buddy whenever they're doing press - but once they don't think anyone's listening, they really let fly with some nasty stuff," said the source.

Talk about a fan favorite! Back from the Super Bowl, Gossip Girl star Blake Lively took some photos with fans before taping the Late Show with David Letterman in New York City Tuesday. She's awesome.

When asked what is sexy, Blake Lively told Access Hollywood, "In a guy, it's all personality for me. Someone that makes you smile and laugh. Someone I can play with. And them, they're the epitome of it right there."

Lively then pointed to the Victoria's Secret models standing next to her. Hard to argue with that, though we'll take Blake any day!

The 20-year-old actress also told OK! Magazine that she was going to scarf down lots of food as she watched the Super Bowl live in Phoenix.

"The more fattening, the better," Blake said, laughing. "Nachos, hot dogs, whatever they have. I've never been to the Super Bowl."

Blake, you are officially our hero.
