Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford, 23, is reportedly dating Drew Barrymore, 33, according to a report this morning on celebrity news blog Perez Hilton.

The pair were supposedly seen at the Saturday Night Live after-party together this past weekend, and were out and about again on Monday night!

Drew Barrymore and Chace Crawford were both at the Kings of Leon concert in New York City and "made no attempt at hiding their relationship."

Multiple eyewitnesses say they were making out, Perez claims.

However, New York Magazine (which is actually based in New York, obviously, unlike Perez) refutes this - sort of. It says Drew was making out with Ed Westwick!

Crawford was in attendance along with Westwick - his best friend and roommate - but New York Magazaine says Ed was the one involved in the Drew kissing.

"Drew was hanging all over Ed!" a witness said, denying the earlier reports that she was spotted smooching Crawford. "They were full-on making out!"

All very interesting for the Gossip Girl stars, linked to the same girl on the same day! What do you think? Who should date Drew Barrymore?

The much buzzed-about Season 2 premiere of Gossip Girl is less than a week away - Monday, September 1 at 8 p.m. EST.

For some of us, it feels like it never left.

The gang is all over New York shooting, and we've covered it for you with extensive Gossip Girl spoilers and photos all summer long.

Now it's time to let the show speak for itself.

For one, Ed Westwick, who plays bad boy Chuck Bass, told MTV that he's happy to be back at work, with new episodes airing soon.

"It's been great," Westwick said. "It's been intense, and we're very excited to get back on the air and get back out there."

"When you're working on it, and you're on the inside of it, you don't find yourself getting caught up in the buzz," Westwick added. "But we are aware of it, and it's fantastic. It makes us feel our work is a success."

He plays the ever-arrogant Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl, but Ed Westwick has a surprising sensitive side — and a way with words.

“I’ve been writing a lot of poetry recently,” Westwick, 21, told People magazine. “It helps me think and work things out.”

Westwick shared with the celebrity news magazine a poem from memory that he wrote “at like six in the morning” recently.

Just don’t read too much into the words.

“Nothing I’ve been writing has a definitive point of aim,” the actor says. “I feel like you just need to keep writing until the writing itself just begins to take shape.”

No, not really. Well, yes really. But probably not in the way that we made it sound in our headline. It appears he's just in a liquor store after hours ... only a guess on our part, but the picture makes it look fairly likely.

What could he be doing in there?

In this week’s (New York Post) Page Six Magazine, 21-year-old British actor Ed Westwick opens up about the “bootlicking” he’s received for portraying the great Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl, rumors he’s gay and more.

Excerpts below ...

On his relationship with co-star / roommate Chace Crawford: “People think Chace was gay, and thought I was gay, that we were humping. It’s not true, but hilarious. People project their fantasies onto people. I’ve never been someone who makes it my objective to go out and pick up chicks. But I’ve met some fantastic ladies here. You know those amazing conversations where you find yourself in a café talking to someone until 2 a.m. and never see them again.”

On refusing to let all the fan adulation go to his head: “There are perks to this job. We [the Gossip Girl cast] were all thrown into this situation with a lot of attention on us, and you get free clothes and sh!t but that’s no reason not to stay grounded. What am I really doing, baby? Saving the world? Nah, I’m on television.”
