Tory Burch and Georgina Chapman were seen filming cameos this week for the upcoming season of Gossip Girl, according to a report in Women's Wear Daily.

The designers made their way to Silvercup Studios in Long Island City, N.Y., where they shot separate scenes for an episode that will air Monday, October 5.

While reps for the hit series are keeping their lips sealed about how Burch and Chapman figure into the Gossip Girl plot in this particular episode, they did say that part of the CW series will take place on a set made to look like Tory Burch’s office.

Although both designers frequently run into socially active cast members Blake Lively, Taylor Momsen, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick on the New York party circuit, they seemed to enjoy working with the stars in an official capacity.

“I am a huge fan [of Gossip Girl],” said Chapman, who has appeared in The Nanny Diaries and Factory Girl. Still, the Marchesa designer admitted, “I was very nervous.”

This isn’t the first time Gossip Girl has tapped real-life members of the fashion flock. Nacho Figueras shot scenes in Greenwich earlier this summer for the show’s September 14 season premiere, and Tinsley Mortimer had a guest spot last year.

Get ready for Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass as you've never seen them.

Or at least the smokin' hot stars who play your Gossip Girl favorites.

Elle has an upcoming feature on Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester, and as you can see, one photo has been leaked. They are looking very goth, and glam ... and hot.

Look at the placement of Ed's hand, the expression his face. Look at Leighton's bad girl look and provocative pose. Sure they're dating other people, but what chemistry!

OMFG, is all we can say. Someone crack a window!

Kristen Bell not only narrates Gossip Girl - she gets her style from the show!

The actress - who is heard, but not seen every week as the title character, says she channels Blake Lively’s Serena van der Woodsen to make sure she's stylish.

“I use Gossip Girl to work out my outfits. I sit and take notes while I’m watching it,” she says. “If Blake Lively wears a white silky vest, I write down ‘Serena - white silky vest.’"

"It’s the only way I can make sure I look stylish!"

The Heroes star, 29, also revealed she loves being funny, but admits it’s “hard” for women to have a sense of humor without being the brunt of the joke.

“I think it’s sometimes one of the hardest things, to be a woman and be funny and not be completely and utterly self-deprecating," Bell laments.

"For a long time, people have been at odds with accepting that.”

This girl is always up to something - and always up on the latest fashion trends. In character as Blair Waldorf, a smiling Leighton Meester rocked a pair of high fashion Chloé shorts with delicate scalloped edging on the set of Gossip Girl.

With the exception of some new faces and Gossip Girl spoilers, not too much is known about the next season of our favorite show so far this summer.

Of course, we do know the basics, such as where the hot characters will be attending college now that their high school days have come to an end.

Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr), and Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) are all enrolled at New York University, so it made sense that the actors spent Monday night filming a scene at St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral School.

That institution lies in the heart of New York City’s Nolita neighborhood, far from the Upper East Side stomping grounds that the gang used to inhabit.

During the taping, which attracted a large crowd of fans who snapping photos and craning their necks to get a better view, Vanessa was "seen talking to an unidentified male, whom she enthusiastically introduced to Dan after he came over."

Think that was Scott (Chris Riggi) perhaps?

And as always with Blair Waldorf, fashion trumped both comfort and practicality. She looked gorgeous in a fitted red dress and sky-high white heels, but had obvious trouble getting up and down the steep steps outside the building as a result.

In between takes, Leighton Meester nervously tapped her over-sized purse against the side of her leg, avoiding eye contact with the spectators who had gathered.

Jessica Szohr, on the other hand, looked more classroom appropriate in a flowy yellow top, shorts and flats. Noticeably absent from the scene was Blake Lively, who will be in Rhode Island attending Brown when the show returns September 14.

Blake has been spotted on the set too, of course, and there are rumors of a Serena hookup with Carter Baizen as well as a quest to find her long-lost father Keith.

Safe to say her days at Brown are numbered before they begin?

Asked what kind of career she aspires to, Lively said, “Women I look up to are Annette Bening, Kate Winslet and Cate Blanchett ... also, I think Reese Witherspoon has had a really great mixture, some great movies as well as some fun ones.”

In a new black trench by Burberry, the beautiful Blake Lively wrapped her arm around her hairstylist, Jennifer Johnson, at the 2009 NYWIFT’s Designing Women awards held at Manhattan's Clearview Chelsea Cinemas on Wednesday evening.

The 21-year-old Gossip Girl stunner was one of three special guests (with John Turturro and Sam Waterston). She presented NYWIFT’s Designing Women Award to Jennifer Johnson for her work on Gossip Girl, Saturday Night Live, and My Sassy Girl.

On the first-ever episode of Gossip Girl, Ed Westwick’s character, Chuck Bass, bookended a pair of date-rape scenes with a weed reference and the memorable zinger delivered to the show’s principal, Serena van der Woodsen:

“Your life is over, slut!”

“Villain is such a harsh word,” Westwick tells GQ from a hotel in Washington, D.C., where he has just attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

It’s hard to imagine what Westwick, a recently minted 22-year-old TV antagonist from England, was doing pressing the flesh with Beltway muckrackers.

But Ed, who looks like Jude Law crossed with a pre-meltdown Joaquin Phoenix, assures, in his assured British way, that “everyone who is anyone was there.”

If that makes Ed sound like a bit of a dick, surrender now - it’s part of his appeal. Just ask Gossip Girl’s freakishly wide-ranging demographic of religious watchers.

Many fans are as riveted by the incestuous nature of the cast as the show itself. Ed Westwick dates co-star Jessica Szohr and is roommates with Chace Crawford.

When pushed to dish, Westwick minimizes the thin line between work and play, and fair enough. You’d date a co-worker if she looked like Jessica Szohr.
