In the same style as the Gossip Girl previews released last week - a pair of fun featurettes explaining Upper East Side lingo such as "Blairanoia" and "Ment-Whore" - a new promo for upcoming episodes of the show has been released this morning.
The newest Gossip Girl speak of the week: "Bass-Talk." Which pretty much speaks for itself, and which may or may not lead to a "Blair Witch-Hunt." See below ...

77 Comments The next new episode of Gossip Girl, airing Monday, March 16, will be called "The Age of Dissonance" - not "Blair Waldorf's Day Off," as was initially and erroneously reported.
The episode synopsis we originally reported has not changed, however:
Chuck is having trouble dealing with the mystery of who his father was and how he spent his spare time. Nate catches Vanessa flirting with another guy, and in a moment of desperation, reluctantly turns to Blair for help - which turns out not as he expected.
Dan purposely ignores Serena's calls and tells Ms. Carr that things are beyond complicated between the two of them right now. Ms. Carr chooses not to take her job back and spends most of her time in an empty apartment with her new fling.
At the same time, Lily and Rufus question where their relationship is going and talk very casually about merging their households, Chuck Bass, however, is strongly against the idea, and does everything in his power to stop it.
That's all in the 18th episode of Season 2 - and it sounds awesome. Guess we know when the long-awaited and controversial Nate and Blair reunion begins.

In the episode after that, "The Grandfather" (2.19, March 23), Vanessa is given an interesting offer by Nate's grandfather that she has a hard time refusing.
The following three Gossip Girl episodes will be "Remains of the J" (2.20, March 30), "Seder Anything" (2.21, April 20), and "Loose Ends" (2.22, April 27).
The final three episodes of Season 2 of Gossip Girl, none of which have titles yet (at least that we can track down), wil air May 4, May 11 and May 18.
In the category of rumored new Gossip Girl couples we haven't seen on actual episodes yet, it looks like the soon-to-be-reunited Nate and Blair have some company.

The CW has released a couple of fun, new promos for upcoming Gossip Girl episodes - which unfortunately do not return until Monday, March 16. Sigh.
In any case, we've got plenty of spoilers and topics of debate to hold us over - the controversial Nate and Blair reunion being the most frequently discussed.

If you were holding out hope that the photos of Nate and Blair kissing on the Gossip Girl set earlier this year were the only scene in which that event took place, well, we have some bad news. But, if you love them together, then good news!

As we reported yesterday, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) is getting a new love interest - and one that doesn't even share a half sibling with her.
Now, E! Online has revealed the actor who will play the role.
Armie Hammer - who has also been cast as the Devil's son, Morgan, on Reaper - will join Gossip Girl at the end of the season to play Serena's new beau.
The CW confirmed Hammer's casting yesterday afternoon.
The preliminary details on his steamy affair with Serena are as follows: Gabriel Serrano is a European socialite, a man unlike any Serena has dated before.
Gabriel will actually be dating Serena's socialite pal, Poppy Lifton (Tamara Feldman), before he moves on to her. Sounds like a scandalous love triangle worthy of the Upper East Side - and his character's drama doesn't stop there.
Armie Hammer will appear on three episodes toward the end of Season Two as a part of the Anne Hathaway-esque story line. Hathaway's Italian businessman beau was arrested and jailed for racketeering and fraud last year ...

Q: I may be the only person in the world who's extremely excited by the breakup of Dan and Serena on Gossip Girl. What's next for both of them?
A: A new love triangle for Serena van der Woodsen that will eventually set in motion that whole Anne Hathaway-inspired plot I told you about last week. What I failed to mention in that story was that when Serena's grifter love interest is first introduced, he's in a relationship with her socialite bud, Poppy Lifton!
Last week's photos of "The Kiss" rocked the Gossip Girl universe - but most of the speculation revolved around what it means for the future of Chuck and Blair.

No, S won't meet the Oscar-nominated actress in person - no guest appearance by the talented and beautiful Anne Hathaway is planned this spring.
Her life has inspired an upcoming Gossip Girl plot, however!
The show is planning a season-ending story loosely inspired by the actress' infamous romance with Raffaello Follieri, a handsome Italian businessman who was convicted October on 14 counts of wire fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy.
On Gossip Girl, Blake Lively's Serena will play the unsuspecting ingenue who falls for a handsome European socialite - in this case a hunk named Giorgio.
No word on if Giorgio is the same character as Gabriel, only renamed, or if they are different characters entirely. We'd guess the former, as the character description below is awfully similar to the way Gabriel has been portrayed in previous reports.

Although she won't confirm or deny the story's Anne Hathaway-esque twists, Gossip Girl executive producer Stephanie Savage reveals this about Serena's beau:
"He's well-traveled, part of the global elite. Not a brooding artist like Dan or Aaron Rose. He's definitely a grown-up, and that's something Serena is attracted to."
Word is that Gossip Girl's version of the story will take a turn that is so much darker than the Hathaway saga that it ultimately puts Serena's life in danger.
Moreover, this is what triggers the return of Michelle Trachtenberg’s Georgina Sparks and casts our heroine's sworn enemy in the unlikely role of savior.
E! Online is weighing in on the already-infamous Nate-Blair kiss - one that has not even occurred yet, but photos from the Gossip Girl set make plain as day.
As has been hinted and rumored for weeks, a core couple is indeed reuniting on Gossip Girl. That cat is now out of the bag thanks to pics like the one below.
But what does this mean for the epic romance that is Blair and Chuck (Ed Westwick)? And why the heck are Nate and Blair kissing again right now anyway?
Gossip Girl sources say that unlike Blair and Chuck's deep (and at times adversarial) passion, a renewed Blair and Nate coupling is about familiarity and comfort.

According to one Gossip Girl insider:
"Blair and Nate are both at a crossroads. Blair has to accept she isn't going to Yale. Nate is being sucked into his family's expectations, and they are both there for each other and enjoy the familiarity. At first it's platonic, but, of course, that doesn't last long."
Chair fans need not worry too much, however. Even though Nate and Blair may be together for the time being, Blair and Chuck have not been forgotten.
For that matter, Gossip Girl executive producer Josh Schwartz just told the Chicago Tribune last week "We get that that [relationship] works for people."
Schwartz's partner in crime Stephanie Savage also spoke about that incriminating photo, telling EW that "I think they look really cute together kissing in the snow," but when asked what a rekindled N and B romance means for C and B, she replied "Tell those Chuck and Blair fans to hang in there."
