Gossip Girl Spoilers (Page 8)

The CW has released a summary for "The Lost Boy," the third episode of the upcoming third season of Gossip Girl. The air date for it is September 28.

In this episode, it's an Upper East Side face-off when Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) and Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) both set their sights on a particular item up for bid at Sotheby's and the personal stakes are high.

What do you think that could be?

Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) suspects Carter Baizen (guest star Sebastian Stan) may be up to his old habits, while Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) takes an interest in Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley).

Lastly, Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr) begins to have some suspicions that something isn't quite right with new guy Scott (guest star Chris Riggi).

Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen and Matthew Settle also star. Jean DeSegonzac directed the Gossip Girl episode which was written by Robert Hull.

We've talked in great detail about new couples (and old couples) and their romantic exploits. But what about Gossip Girl's favorite frenemies?

Regarding the best friends who just can't get along consistently, here's a little GG teaser from Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello today:

Q: Can you do me a huge favor and give the fans some Gossip Girl scoop pertaining to Blair and Serena? I’m just dying to know if these old frenemies will be loving or hating each other this season.

A: They’ll start out loving each other, but by November, the hate is on! What triggers the war? Let’s just say Blair doesn’t exactly follow the bros before hos system (or, in this case, hos before bros).

Hmm ... what do you suppose that implies?! Something with Chuck? Or Carter? Does Nate find himself in between them again? Dare to Dair?!

Something always comes between these two ...

Season Three of Gossip Girl begins next week with "Reversals of Fortune."

Earlier this morning, we published the third season's first eight episode titles and previewed the second episode of the season, "The Freshman."

Now, we have a slew of pics from episodes coming later this month and next.

Is NYU ready for Blair Waldorf?

The CW has released its official episode synopsis for "The Freshmen," the second episode of the season, in which Michelle Trachtenberg returns as Georgina.

According to the network, Blair (Leighton Meester) is determined to maintain her Queen B status in college as she embarks on her first day at New York University, along with Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr).

Unfortunately, Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) turns up as Blair's roommate, and is determined to make Blair a social outcast. Causing trouble as always!

As Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) prepares to go to Brown, she and Chuck (Ed Westwick) have a big-time falling out, so she recruits Chuck's nemesis, Carter Baizen (guest star Sebastian Stan), to help her get even.

Meanwhile, Nate (Chace Crawford) and Bree (guest star JoAnna Garcia) decide to explore their relationship further, knowing full well it could cause tension between their well-to-do families who are longtime political rivals.

Just six days and 13 hours to go until Season 3 of Gossip Girl premieres at last. Not that we are obsessed and counting down the minutes or anything ...

Looks like the already-infamous gay kiss featuring Chuck Bass in the upcoming season of Gossip Girl is not as noteworthy for the kiss itself as for what it belies.

Check out this excerpt from Michael Ausiello's column today ...

Q: How is Chuck going to react when he finds out Blair Waldorf tricked him into kissing a guy on Gossip Girl? Is there gonna be a revenge?

A: The kiss itself isn’t the issue. It’s the general lack of trust between them that causes problems. And the tension grows the following week when another breakdown in trust occurs - this time involving the bar Chuck opens in his new hotel.

Very interesting to say the least. What do you think happens in the bar Chuck opens? Can Chair survive this bicurious bump in the road?

Earlier today, we added more pictures to our Season 3 premiere gallery. "Reversals of Fortune" airs September 14 at 9 p.m., and we'e counting down the minutes.

To make today even better, however, the CW released a set of images from the next episode, "The Freshmen." The second episode of Season 3 airs September 21.

The first thing we have to ask is... did Vanessa get cool over the summer or something? Here she is at what looks like a college party, with none other than Scott:

In addition to some good pictures of Vanessa (yes, such a thing exists), it looks like Chuck is in an important business meeting and Blair reunites with Georgina. We can't imagine it goes smoothly. Come on, it's Blair and Georgina!

They're pretty sweet. In "Reversals of Fortune," we learn that:

• Serena has been parading around Europe, carrying on tabloid romances while Dan, Eric and Jenny read about it in celebrity gossip magazines at home
• Nate is encouraged by Chuck to use Bree Buckley - the enemy - to get back in his family's good graces (it's complicated, as most things with Nate are)
• Serena loves the paparazzi attention
• A hot blonde tries to seduce Chuck
• We can't wait for September 14!
