Simon Miller has signed on to guest star in two upcoming episodes of the hit series we love, "How to Succeed in Bassness" and "The Grandfather: Part II."

These are the seventh and eighth episodes of the current Season 3.

Miller will play an actor - famous for playing vampires - caught in a triangle between his ex-girlfriend and former co-star, Olivia Burke (recurring guest star Hilary Duff), and Dan Humphrey (Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley).

As an actor, the 25-year-old is best known for appearing in number of independent films, such as Elah & the Moon, Between Love & Goodbye, Pickman's Model, Truth Project, History of Sexuality and others.

He is also a successful fashion photographer whose work has appeared in GQ, Vogue, The New York Times Magazine and other publications.

Tyra Banks is guest starring on Gossip Girl this season, and like the role played by Hilary Duff, this high-profile casting move has drawn mixed reviews.

Still, she's going to be on our favorite show and is pretty excited about it. Below, on her talk show, Tyra teases her appearance on Gossip Girl this fall.

How quickly things change.

In what seems like an instant, Neal Bledsoe went from an unknown to the guy who will make out with Ed Westwick in a scandalous smooch on Gossip Girl.

The same-sex kiss doesn’t air until October 19, but Neal Bledsoe - who plays a gay NYU alumni Blair pimps boyfriend Chuck out to - dished on it to EW.

Q: How has your life changed in the past week?

Neal Bledsoe: My mom is certainly a thousand times more proud of me. And it was my first experience with the paparazzi knowing my name, which was strange. I thought maybe Neil Diamond or Neil Sedaka was standing behind me.

Q: Tell me about your character.

Neal Bledsoe: Initially I was supposed to play the dean of the freshman class. But then they hired a 28-year-old actor so that seemed like a bit of a stretch.

Now I play a lawyer who is a very well connected alumni at the university who has a hand in deciding who is going to give the famous freshman speech.

Q: An honor you agree to extend to Blair in exchange for the kiss. Is it as simple as you just wanting to say you made out with the legendary Chuck Bass?

Neal Bledsoe: I will tell you this: I have a very unexpected and darker motivation about it.

Q: Was shooting the kiss awkward?

Neal Bledsoe: No. We were both professionals about it. [It helped] that we got to know each other a little bit beforehand. And we certainly rehearsed it.

Q: Rehearsed it? How many takes did you do?

Neal Bledsoe: [Laughs] More than a few.

Q: How would you characterize the kiss? Steamy? A little peck?

Neal Bledsoe: I would characterize it as a nice kiss.

Gina Torres has been cast on Gossip Girl as Vanessa's mother.

Gabriela Abrams, mother to home-schooled Vanessa, is described as being warm and outgoing, which will certainly be a change of pace for this show, not exactly known for parental virtuousness (much as Rufus and Lily might mean well).

She is a free spirit, herself a former Brooklynite who lives "off the grid" in Vermont and expresses strong opinions about things, especially concerning her daughter.

That sounds more like it.

Gina Torres is best known for her roles on Alias and Firefly, though she also had a recent blink-and-you-miss-it cameo on Pushing Daisies as the wayward mom of Emerson's daughter. The actress is married to CSI star Laurence Fishburne.

Gabriela Abrams is currently scheduled to appear in two episodes, but she may recur on the series. Gossip Girl returns for its third season on September 14.

Tory Burch and Georgina Chapman were seen filming cameos this week for the upcoming season of Gossip Girl, according to a report in Women's Wear Daily.

The designers made their way to Silvercup Studios in Long Island City, N.Y., where they shot separate scenes for an episode that will air Monday, October 5.

While reps for the hit series are keeping their lips sealed about how Burch and Chapman figure into the Gossip Girl plot in this particular episode, they did say that part of the CW series will take place on a set made to look like Tory Burch’s office.

Although both designers frequently run into socially active cast members Blake Lively, Taylor Momsen, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick on the New York party circuit, they seemed to enjoy working with the stars in an official capacity.

“I am a huge fan [of Gossip Girl],” said Chapman, who has appeared in The Nanny Diaries and Factory Girl. Still, the Marchesa designer admitted, “I was very nervous.”

This isn’t the first time Gossip Girl has tapped real-life members of the fashion flock. Nacho Figueras shot scenes in Greenwich earlier this summer for the show’s September 14 season premiere, and Tinsley Mortimer had a guest spot last year.

Tyra Banks is coming to the Upper East Side this season.

A source confirms to People that the Tyra Banks Show and America's Next Top Model host will be showing off her acting skills on the CW show in an episode during Gossip Girl’s upcoming third season, which returns Monday, September 14.

No word on the role to be played by Tyra Banks, who becomes the latest high-profile guest star to be announced for Season 3, following in the footsteps of singer and actress Hilary Duff, who will play a love interest for Penn Badgley's Dan Humphrey.

The Duff signing was met with less than universal praise, to say the least, from some fans who think the show is better off casting newcomers than known celebrities.

What do you think of this casting move?

When Gossip Girl returns this fall, Serena and company will be sharing the screen with a real-life member of the Manhattan social swirl - Nacho Figueras.

Figueras, who spends his days playing polo for the Black Watch team and posing for Ralph Lauren's Polo Fragrances, will appear on the season premiere.

Women's Wear Daily caught up with the hunky Argentine to gossip about the TV gig (his first), which he filmed this month and we'll see September 14:

Q: Had you seen the show before filming this episode?

Nacho Figueras: Yes, I've seen the show many, many times. My wife [Delfina Blaquier] is a huge fan.

Q: What was your reaction when they asked you to do this?

Nacho Figueras: First and foremost, I thought it was a great opportunity to promote Polo and my team Black Watch. Second, and most important to my wife, was that I would be able to meet Chuck Bass [actor Ed Westwick].

Q: What can you tell us about your part on Gossip Girl?

Nacho Figueras: Luckily, my role wasn't too difficult. I play myself!

Q: You filmed at the Greenwich Polo Club. Did any of the cast ask you for polo lessons?

Nacho Figueras: I didn't give lessons there, but Matthew Settle, who plays Rufus Humphrey on the show, is going to come riding with me this summer.

Q: What's easier, acting or playing polo?

Nacho Figueras: Playing polo. No doubt about it. Unless all my roles are on a horse.

It's official. Hilary Duff is joining Gossip Girl for a multi-episode arc - as a new roommate for one of our favorite characters and a love interest for another!

The actress-designer-pop singer will be playing Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at New York University in search of a traditional college experience.

She will room with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) so it's safe to say she'll be majoring in Drama! Sorry, that was EW's line, but it was too good not to steal.

Olivia just wants to date a normal guy. Lucky for her, Dan doesn't know who she is and wants to hook up with her. Oooh. Get ready for some Dolivia!

Hilary Duff will debut on Gossip Girl in this season's fourth episode, October 5.

Gossip Girl producers spotted an opening in the 21-year-old star's schedule after NBC elected to pass on her comedy pilot, entitled Barely Legal.

March 23, "The Grandfather" - Carter instantly causes trouble for Chuck and further angers him when he tries his moves on Blair Waldorf. Meanwhile, Vanessa receives an offer from Nate's grandfather that is difficult to refuse.

March 30, "Remains of the J," - As Jenny has second thoughts about her future, Tamara Feldman returns as socialite Poppy Lifton, and Armie Hammer makes his first appearance in the role of Gabriel Serrano, Poppy's boyfriend who sweeps Serena off her feet with a romantic vacation. Both guest stars will appear in multiple episodes.

April 20, "Seder Anything" - Wallace Shawn returns as Cyrus Rose, Eleanor Waldorf's husband.

April 27, "Loose Ends" - Michelle Trachtenberg returns as the manipulative Georgina Sparks for a four-episode arc, taking us through the end of the second season.

May 4, "TBA" - Introduces the love child of Lilly and Rufus, who is indeed alive, and returns to his parents needing to finish his Senior Year of high school.

May 11, "TBA" - No Doubt will appear and perform their song "Stand And Deliver" for the first time ever on Gossip Girl! This episode will also introduce the Gossip Girl spinoff, reportedly starring Brittany Snow, as a "backdoor pilot."

May 18, "TBA" - Season Two concludes.
