Q: How long is Mädchen Amick sticking around on Gossip Girl?

A: The little cougar disappears at the end of episode 4, although Josh Schwartz says the "door is open" for her return. (New hubby Christian Slater may have something to say about that though.) Meanwhile, Gossip Girl cameras are currently staked out at New York Fashion Week capturing b-roll that will be incorporated into an upcoming episode set almost entirely at, yep, you guessed it, New York Fashion Week!

"We’re working with the organizers of Fashion Week to shoot a bunch of second unit stuff that we can slot into our episode before it airs," explains executive producer Stephanie Savage. "The difficulty of shooting [actual scenes] during Fashion Week, of course, is that we don’t have enough time between shooting and airing the episode to make [it work]."

So says Madchen Amick.

The actress, who plays Nate Archibald’s mature, beautiful love interest on Gossip Girl, makes out with the handsome 23-year-old - and certainly causes plenty of drama in Monday's season premiere, "Summer Kind of Wonderful."

Luckily, she’s not above kissing and telling.

“Chace is a very good kisser,” Amick, 37, says. “If anyone gets the opportunity to kiss him ... he will not disappoint.”

It appears not, at least from the make-out scene in question.

The Season 2 premiere of Gossip Girl catches up with Nate and pals Serena (Blake Lively), Blair (Leighton Meester), Chuck (Ed Westwick), Dan (Penn Badgley) and Jenny (Taylor Momsen), at the end of the summer.

“[Nate] has been keeping busy having an affair with an older married woman,” Amick explains. “Things continue [with Nate], but she gets very intertwined with the other characters and there’s a lot that I’m not supposed to say.”

However, of her story arc, which she says will last four episodes, Madchen Amick will say that “she causes a lot of trouble.”

The actress, who has two teenagers, says her kids got to visit her on the set, but she didn’t let them watch her maul Crawford.

The summer breeze has a way of creating romance, as we've already seen (maybe) with a photo of Blair Waldorf and a new man.

Looks like Blair's ex, Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford), has his own share of problems - sexy problems - in the form of a certain older female (Madchen Amick) who's taken quite a liking to him (in the car no less) and given a great Gossip Girl love triangle a whole new twist!

What will transpire when Gossip Girl returns?

Gossip Girl spoiler sources are spilling on the latest romantic happenings on theUpper East Side, and E! Online says the show's original "it" couple, Nate and Blair, aren't reconciling any time soon.

The reason for that? A certain new cougar ready to pounce!

That foxy older woman is Mädchen Amick, who, according to CW insiders, will appear in the season 2 premiere on September 1 and is expected to hang around for at least 4-5 episodes. Scandalous!

Is Nate Archibald ready for some cougar action?

Word is, Mädchen is heavily involved in Nate's storylines and also has "a surprising connection to another new character on the show." What? Who could it be? That we'll have to wait and see.

Still, if Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald) has his way, this won't be the last of his love interests by any means.

"Nate's kissed every girl on the show, and I think it's going to keep going toward that direction," the young star said. "Well, except Mrs. Van der Woodsen ... but just give it time!"

As for Queen B, don't feel too sorry for her.

The Upper East Side is about to get even hotter. Cougar style. On Season 2 of Gossip Girl, an older woman named Catherine Mason will tempt Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) with some hot, May-December romance!

Catherine Mason will be played by Madchen Amick, last seen in CBS' Viva Laughlin as the wife of a small-time casino owner. Amick will join the cast when Gossip Girl returns with new episodes September 1.
