Georgina Sparks has once again left the crazy Gossip Girl kids to recover from her devious ways, but that doesn't mean they are free of her antics for good.

The actress who plays the Evil G, Michelle Trachtenberg, said there are a still many scenarios that could bring her character back to Gossip Girl. She says:

"Georgina, she's taken a little trip away. She's gone off with a Russian prince, or so she thinks. So, there are so many more great things Georgina can do."

"She pretty much just comes in, destroys their lives for a few episodes, and then is like, 'OK, I'm good now. I think I'll go get a massage in the Caribbean.'"

Georgina had been attending NYU with Blair Waldorf, and Trachtenberg said once the two ladies meet up again, there will certainly be another catfight.

"I'm sure. Georgina never lets go of a grudge," she said. "So she'll be getting back at Blair. Which is really funny, because Leighton and I are so close."

Michelle Trachtenberg and Leighton Meester are very close friends in real life, even if their Gossip Girl counterparts, Georgina and Blair, are heated rivals.

Although there are very few people who'd actually sing the praises of Georgina, Trachtenberg is proud to love the bad girl, who she calls "absolutely amazing."

"She is the best character I have ever played. She is so much," she gushed. "Georgina is so incredibly evil, manipulative and pretty much just takes no prisoners, and she doesn't care about the consequences. She is fantastic."

On Trachtenberg's other TV show, Mercy, she plays über-sweet newbie nurse Chloe, but she admits that playing mean girl Georgina is much more fun.

"Villains are definitely more fun than good girls," she said. "They are the ones that wreak havoc, and basically, they kind of run the show."

Gossip Girl Insider would like to wish a happy (almost belated) birthday to Michelle Christine Trachtenberg, who was born 24 years ago on the 11th of October.

A guest star in each of the show's three seasons as the ca-ra-zy Ms. Georgina Sparks, Michelle has provided some memorable scenes and Gossip Girl quotes.

This recent photo from the Gossip Girl set appears to show stars Matthew Settle and Kelly Rutherford embracing Chris Riggi, who plays Scott, the mysterious love child of Lily and Rufus (who they do not know is still alive as of the end of Season 2).

Is a family reunion in store on Gossip Girl?

While the plot line involving the mysterious love child Scott has already been developing for awhile, no one knows it! We don't know what to expect once his identity is revealed to the rest of the Gossip Girl characters we love. Should be very interesting.

A little Gossip Girl spoiler note from E! Online's Q&A today ...

Q: We heard Georgina might be getting a new love interest on Gossip Girl. Any news?

A: Not quite yet, but it sounds like Michelle would like to play the field a bit longer on Gossip Girl. "She is making out with all the boys," says Michelle Trachtenberg.

"Nooo, that was my request," jokes the star.

Wanna know what really happens?

"You'll have to see."

It looks like from one of the Season 3 teaser clips we posted earlier today that she's getting involved in some capacity with at least one boy we know ...

As we teased over the weekend, E! News hit the set of Gossip Girl in NYC and came back with delicious interviews with some of our favorite cast members.

Most notably Leighton Meester, talked Chuck and Blair ("Everything they do is a little bit naughty") and what the future holds for the show's hottest couple. She also talked a bit about what it's like for a Queen B to be at the bottom at NYU.

A pair of Gossip Girl stars were filming scenes in close proximity to one another yesterday, and for once, we're not talking about Chair, or any of Blake's kissing partners.

What does G have up her sleeve this season?

Despite guest starring on each of the show's first three seasons, Michelle Trachtenberg has not become a full-time cast member. Perhaps that will change at some point.

We pretty much knew this already, but in case it wasn't confirmed 100 percent before, it now is, thanks to TV Guide. Michelle Trachtenberg has not been promoted to a series regular on Gossip Girl. She will, however, be guest starring this season.

The Season 2 finale indicated that Georgina would be enrolling at NYU with the gang.

But Trachtenberg's fall run on Gossip Girl be brief, as the actress' other show, the NBC nursing drama Mercy, has just been moved up from midseason to fall.

With Mercy rushed into production, Michelle Trachtenberg will be preoccupied.

However, don't be surprised to see her making periodic vistis to the Upper East Side throughout the life of the series! Hey, a little G is better than nothing, right?

Since Michelle Trachtenberg is one of the stars of Mercy, NBC's upcoming drama about nurses, which just got pushed up to fall from midseason (in place of Parenthood), is the actress' recurring role on Gossip Girl affected in any way?

According to E!, Michelle Trachtenberg won't miss a beat on Gossip Girl.

She's doing everything she was expected to do as of last spring, and we have already seen Georgina on set. You didn't think Evil G would go down easily did you?

Meanwhile, Kelly Rutherford will be missing three episodes for her maternity leave. At the same time, Scott (Chris Riggi) will be front and center this season.
