The Gossip Girl cast - Jessica Szohr, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick, Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen and Leighton Meester - collectively made People magazine’s Most Beautiful list. No argument here!

The beautiful and talented cast of Gossip Girl.
On-screen, they are gorgeous, scheming, back-stabbing high schoolers. Off-screen… oh who are we kidding, they are still gorgeous. But fortunately, they’re somewhat kinder to one another.
“I assure you,” Badgley says, “we are all fun and charming as hell.”

At 14, Taylor Momsen is the baby of the Gossip Girl cast.
But her character, Jenny Humphrey, has been growing up fast.
When the show returns Monday, J is poised to take on Blair Waldorf (played by Leighton Meester), the school’s dethroned social queen who’s not likely to go down without a fight.
Taylor Momsen talked to People about being a famous freshman, handling the press and getting proposed to by a Gossip Girl fan…
People: What did you do during the strike?
Taylor Momsen: I went to school, stayed in New York, learned the city a little bit better. I know the subways now. Now I can do the A, C, E , N and R [subway lines]. I figured out express trains too. That was cool.
People: What did you miss while you weren’t working?
Taylor Momsen: The rice pudding! No, I missed the scripts, reading about what was going to happen. I missed all the people, the costumes, everything about it.
People: You mentioned the rice pudding. Is the food on set better than your cafeteria at school?
Taylor Momsen: We don’t have a cafeteria at my school. We go out to lunch. This is more like school than my real school.

People: Do your friends ask you about the show?
Taylor Momsen: To be honest, they don’t really ask questions about the show. Not really. They might ask what’s gong to happen next. A lot of times I don’t even know. I don’t get the scripts until later.
People: Do you have a favorite subject in school?
Taylor Momsen: I like humanities — I like creative writing a lot.
People: Is it hard being the youngest in the cast?
Taylor Momsen: I’m always the youngest. I’m the baby in my class. All my friends are older.
People: Are the guys protective?
Taylor Momsen: Penn Badgley is a little bit. He’s adapted to the brother role. He’ll say, “Those shoes are really too tall for you.”

Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey) looks adorable and chic, if you ask us, in between shooting scenes on Friday for the hit show.
Hopefully the new episodes (starting April 21) feature more Taylor Momsen, who was playing a lesser role by the end of the first batch.

Actress Taylor Momsen as the conflicted Jenny Humphrey.
Looks like there’s a new kid on the Gossip Girl block.
Young stud Jesse Swenson has reportedly joined the cast of the show… for how long, we don’t know. But here is a photo of Jesse Swenson on the set, filming some scenes with star Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey)…

Gossip Girl returns with all new episodes on April 21. We can’t wait to see what kind of drama transpires with this new character… as well as with a scandalous Nate and Vanessa hookup that’s going down …

Sophia Bush, Natasha Bedingfield and Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen really know how to sell a product - the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 - during a launch party for the phone Tuesday at the IAC Building in New York.

Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey) has her eyes on the prize.
Natasha Bedingfield, of course, is a popular young British singer. Just like Taylor Momsen, Sophia Bush stars on a CW hit series - One Tree Hill - and is responsible for no small amount of cheesy quotes. But we love ‘em.
Gossip Girl star Jenny Humphrey certainly has a unique fashion sense. But how does her style stack up with the youngster who plays her, Taylor Momsen? Let’s take a look in this Gossip Girl fashion comparison …

Jenny and Taylor certainly have different senses of style.
She may not have the big fashion budget of Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen, but Dan’s little sis does have a hipster sense of style. Jenny Humphrey uses it to spruce up her school uniform with cute little details like her funky bracelets, slip-on sneakers and tube socks.
Meanwhile, Taylor Momsen goes for both comfort and style in one of this year’s biggest trends - a yellow dress (by Alice + Olivia) - adding flirty peep-toe pumps and bright red nails. Taylor looks awfully cute … for a 14-year-old, especially. Did we mention she’s 14?
The following interview is courtesy of GossipGirlOnline.net…
Q: How are you and your character different in real life?
Taylor Momsen: She cares a lot about what people think of her obviously. She really cares what Blair wants. She really wants to be accepted in that crowd and be popular where as me as long as I have my good friends. I’m cool with that and I’m cool with myself so it’s like we’re different in that way but we have a lot of similarities too.
Q: Do you get along with the cast really well?
TM: I do. We’re like a big family. It’s so great. I love, love working on [Gossip Girl]. We’re like really a family. It’s like a family away from a family. (Laughs).
Q: Do you feel out of place being the youngest cast member?
TM: Not really. I’m use to being the baby except for my real family I’m the oldest. But I’ll tell you that I’ve always been the youngest in my class and the youngest on everything so you know it’s good, you know it’s fun. They look out for me.
Q: Do you like shooting in New York?
TM: I do. I love it. I’m so excited we got to film the show here you know oppose to LA because New York is the character and you can’t recreate that. It’s great
Q: How did you find out and get involve with Gossip Girl?
Penn Badgley: I actually worked with Stephanie Savage before who created the show with Josh Schwartz. I met Josh when they were trying to do a spin off with Willa Holland I think for the OC. I knew them both and I had a relationship with Stephanie and they sent me the script of Gossip Girl and they told me about the books. I knew nothing about them. It seemed like an amazing opportunity to work with them to be a part of something that could be big so I signed on.
Q: Do you get along with the cast really well?
PB: We actually get along incredibly well. We’re all great friends. I was actually just texting Blake. We’re really close. In fact, one of the things I’m most thankful for in this show, the whole experience has been the friendships. That’s no shit. That’s no lie. (Laughs).
Q: How do you relate to your character?
PB: I think everybody relates to Dan. He’s the most easily relatable because he’s the most real. He’s the most vulnerable. I think he’s the most teenager - like out of everyone because they all live such ridiculous privileged life styles and he’s from Brooklyn. He literally lives in a really incredible apartment even though he’s poor. He lives the most normal life. He’s the most regular.

Maybe Chuck wouldn’t have tried to date rape Jenny if he had seen the following picture.
After all, how adorable is Taylor Momsen below, in a scene from How the Grinch Stole Christmas?
